I was in Goa few months ago. Here some tips:
If you want to take the night bus, is cheaper but a very bumpy road. You can take a long night sleep, but the roads are difficult to drive in to let you sleep. Also, be very carefully when you reach the stop for Goa, local people warned us that usually the drivers kick you out a stop before so you can grab a TukTuk and pay more for the ride.
Amazing place, very cheap and the local people, very friendly.
Fully recommended.

It's not fun loving state instead it's a fun looting state. And locals are too rude, I mean to say every single local. They don't even know how to behave with tourist and workers from out side Goa. They don't even allow online cabs like Ola or Uber because if ola or Uber comes then they could not loot people as they want... It's the worst city in the world..

When I see this undiscovered vids I get scared bc I don’t want to lose it to tourism. We in Goa love tourists exploring our land but trust me we don’t like it when tourists only care about taking selfies and ruin the area with rubbish. I advise everyone to explore the countryside while also taking care of the land for future generations. ❤️

This video seems to be targeted at only those who go to Goa or want to go there for inexpensive booze and nothing else. As someone who got to live there for short but worthy duration, here's my list of what to know before going to Goa:
1. Goa is a state, NOT a city. Panaji, Mapusa, Margao, Vasco and Ponda are cities.
2. Goa was a European colony longer than the rest of the country and also different from the rest of the country, even insulated from it due to this being under Portuguese hence the colonial influence is much stronger and in a different way, which ought to be accepted and respected.
3. Milk, tea and coffee may not always be as readily and always available as elsewhere.
4. Women deserve to be looked at and treated with same respect as we do elsewhere.
5. Bollywood's portrayal of the people of Goa is way, way inaccurate, caricatured and grossly misleading.
6. It is Margao, Margaon or Madgaon and not MARGOA for heavens sake. Not to be confused with Murmagao, even though the spellings seem similar.
7. Goa also has beautiful temples such as Shantadurga, Mangeshi, Nageshi to name a few.
Lastly, 2 unsavoury aspects:
1. If you are at a restaurant that also has white-skinned tourists, don't be surprised if you are given secondary treatment cos the westerners get in more revenue than us for the tourism industry. Accept this bitter truth and do not make a ruckus cos it's of no use.
2. Healthcare in Goa is a joke, and a very expensive one !! So, if you are under any kind of medication, carry those sufficient enough for the duration of your stay there. Also better to have a WhatsApp image of your prescription, just in case.

Listing some less explored places of Goa.
1) Curdi- the underwater village. Atlantis of Goa.
2) Netravali - the only strawberry plantation of Goa. And the scenic treck to the waterfall.(second half of the year)
3) cola beach. Kinda inaccessible beach, with a manmade lagoon and scenic kayaking route.
This video does not do justice to goa and the tourist who would want to plan a visit to goa. You have missed out many locations in goa worth paying a visit to. The devki krishna Temple , bramha Temple . Ponda ( taluka not along the coast line ) lies in the interiors and is a hub of goan culture. Salavli dam. Palolem . Tambdi Surla shiv Temple , and what not. These are just a few important ones you have missed out . There is much more to the list. It's time everyone gives up the idea of a goa as beach , bottle and babes . Rave, baga , . So many forts to visit . But all we can recommend is calangute.

Please be aware that taxi drivers are very very rude in Goa specially south goa they charge you terribly high price for taxi. Best thing is take a car/ bike for whole day and if you can't drive then God be with you.

I've always loved listening to music on my own, but there's another side of me that is just fascinated by... like Goa trance, for example - just a rave on a beach in India, you know? Where there's someone that's spinning the music, and it's just this free-flowing, continuous energy.💕✌
Being a Goan I can confidently state that 60% is not true.
Firstly let's talk about the restaurants . All the restaurants stated are so expensive. Your bill won't be less that 3000 rupees. They do not cook authentic Goan food.
All the beaches stated are one of the most crowded beaches.
Secondly renting a bike is fun but do not do the mistake of traveling on the new bridge since bikes are not allowed and will be heavily fined . Moreover do not ride if you are not licensed to if you happen to ram into a locals vehicle you can get into big trouble.
Entry in the clubs are also very expensive and the shacks are also expensive.
Within 2 days nearly 10k will be finished just like that .
Pallolem you won't get parking at all .
All i can say after watching this video is....you don't know anything about goa....u just googled it.

I was thinking of GOA , a place I would like to visit and possibly make a new start from the rat-race, but then I found out that GOA is part of India 🇮🇳… changed my mind.
GOA is a place for white people, no one darker than East Indians are welcome .. Indians are most happy in the company of white peoples. They’re Black outside white inside. I’m not spending my money in a country that still has cast system.

All said u should get the pronunciation if the places right. And most important please emphasize on cleanliness. Indian tourists are very careless about cleanliness.They generate lot of trash and are known to throw liquor bottles anywhere and everywhere. They should learn from the foreign tourists who respect our land and don't cause problems. U may not like the comments but it is the hard truth.

Stuck in traffic for 2 hours ⌛⌛ because of the increase in tourists for the end of year season. Don't wanna complain but no more please, refrain for Coming for this season anyways it will get still worse until new year. And travelling North to South Goa via zuari bridge is still gonna be more difficult. And all i am thinking of reaching home now after work.
Anyways, all those who are already here. Enjoy your stay and have a safe trip. Goa is lot more than party and drinks. (The video did showcase it well👍) and refrain from causing unnecessary troubles and things that you won't do in your home town. We Goan's, have ethics, and not just drunkards and party animals like showcased in bollywood. We are good people, who love the nature, so refrain from polluting the beaches as you go there. We are all working hard to make a better Goa, it will be huge help if you think about us too. Thank you.
