Thank you. I'm thinking of fixing my broken driver side window on a 2000 Outback and even though this is a different model and year your video is very helpful letting me get an idea of what I'm in for.
Use a 12 or 14v power tool battery and make up some leads come off the battery contacts and connect to the 2 wires that feed motor, simply reversing wires(polarity) changes up/down motor rotation . If don't have a suitable power tool battery take a small car battery with you .
You say "This guy, and this guy," apparently talking about parts You removed whilst in front of it so it couldn't be seen. Just letting you know that this in no way is very helpful to replace the window glass.
Badass bro. watched your video, changed my window in less than 15 minutes. 🤙
Thank you.

What does one do when removing one in a junk yard in vehicles not having power to the regulator?

Sawzall go brrr
Can you use those old window brackets that clamp on to the window the ones you threw on the ground or does it have to come already on the new window
Why didn’t you clean the window before you put it in?
