🎵 THE STAR ABOVE THE GARTER: I learned this slide from the playing of Tony O'Connell during a masterclass. Tony recorded this tune on his album "Rooska Hill", a brilliant duet album with flute player Éamonn O'Riordan.
🎵 EILEEN O'RIORDAN'S: I learned this tune from my daughter Lily, who learned it from her teacher Rachel Reid, who joins me on this set. It was also recorded by Seamus Begley and Steve Cooney on their amazing album "Meitheal".
🎵 THE RUBBER BAND (aka SLIDE DO CAOIMHIN): A great slide composed by Peadar O'Riada which I learned during a masterclass with Caroline Keane.
