I like how even their numbers reflect their respective personality. Mario has 1, Luigi has 2, because obviously. Bowser has 66 probably to reference the number of the beast, as he's the main villain. Toads have 12 probably because Peach has 10, they're somewhat her "seconds". Yoshi might have 8 maybe because of his life cycle, as he lays eggs he could come out of. Finally, Wario and Waluigi both have 00 and 0, because they're both archetypical losers!
The animations are really good and give personailty still leaving them family friendly however, i miss the personalized themes like luigi had in mscf like these musical themes doubled down on the characters and made them so special, everyone and i mean everyone had a favorite character in that game, not because of their ingame stats

I love these animations. I'll admit they have the most personality out of any Mario game, however I miss the grit and toughness all the character had in MSC. The individual theme songs as well along with unique dodges. But, I'm happy the series is back... but fuck this free update BS

i like how bowser's hyper strike went with the bob-omb like when it ended it looked like the throw was so powerful it pushed bowser back and made a hole where the ball was thrown
I’d definitely cough up $60 to see Donkey Kong bust a move on a soccer field(or football to those in the UK), that dance is like candies for my eyeballs.

yoshi's are the absolute cleanest of them all. The facial, body movements even to the eyes moving is above the rest.
