That's something that I wouldn't have thought of with the disinfecting of your gear, but of course it makes sense. I definitely appreciate the strict rules being enforced! I hope no one gets stupid about it. Oh no, I'm bummed the weather messed up your equipment and plans, but omg the penguins are so cute!
That was great. I have always found penguins interesting. My grandson loved that movie about them so naturally I watched it over and over.. I don’t know why it never occurred to me that whales would eat whales, but I was kind of taken back for a bit, when you were talking about the pod chasing the other whale. Mother Nature can be a little hard to take at times. Looking forward to your next video.
Thank you so much for sharing the beauty! ❤ The disinfection process intrigued me. It’s definitely going both ways. Very respectful for both the ship and the fauna.
This seems like a wonderful adventure and cruise. If I never considered cruising to be really a thing for me before you have given me a reason to truly consider it now. This just looks amazing and I thank you for the sharing.
Justin, thank you so much for taking us all on a fascinating tour with you to Antarctica! It's almost like we're there with you! I loved seeing how you could just hang out with the penguin colony and get excited about seeing whales in action. You make a fantastic tour guide and host with an interesting way of explaining what's going on, each step of the way. Now I want to go there, too!!!
I absolutely love your videos, thank you! I'll likely never be able to take a trip of this kind and it was so nice to 'see it through your eyes'. Those penguins are so cool. I love how you say you love and appreciate all of us at the end of your videos. It makes me feel loved. We love and appreciate you as well. So nice to see that Lauren is feeling better.
WOW that is totally amazing and I am slightly jealous that I probably will never be able to experience that in my lifetime. So thank you for sharing the experience!
By far one of the best videos you’ve produced. Content and cinematography was stellar and your capture of the wild life was breathtaking. Although, you’re more man than me going out on deck in just flip flops in that cold weather. 😂 Looking forward to the next video.
Any chance you can list the cruise companies that actually have the expeditions? I don’t want to just watch in Antarctica, i want to walk it like you are doing
A few years ago, my wife and I were visiting Tasmania, Australia. The place we were staying at had Little Penguins, yes, we have penguins in Australia, way down south obviously. We went for a wander in the evening, to see if we could see any penguins, because we could definitely hear them. We were standing by a hedge and heard a noise coming from said hedge. Shining a torch (flashlight) in there, we discovered we were standing about a metre (3 feet) away from a couple of penguins.
A fabulous video. Thank you so much for showing us your landing on Antarctica. To watch this video is a surreal experience that I hope to make real in the years to come. Hope your phone problems can be resolved. Continued success with your journey. 🌹
Bravo and kudos to you and Lauren. This, by far, is the BEST cruise content I have ever seen!!! What was the other ship in the distance at the end of the video, another expedition cruise? 🐧🐳❄🚢
The gentoo penguins are my favorite breeds since they're actually the most social despite not having many interactions usually animals with low interactions with humans tend to be curious but run at first movement.
Hey guys. I love the content. I know this is going to be weird to ask you this, but I am curious; have you seen anything out there in Antarctica that you would consider "other worldly"? Such as strange lights or anything in that nature. If I am overstepping or making you feel uncomfortable to answer, I totally understand.
When I was in Juneau Alaska last September, we saw a lot of killer whales. Some even swan by the boat, and I was able to get pictures of it swimming under the water with it's fin out of the water. I could see the black and white body under the water. It was so cool.
Hey J and Laurene. Day 2. Omg. Look at these penguins 🐧 up close and personal. Wow. This is the end of summer? 😮. Hate to see winter. Wow. Look at the whale 🐳 bones. 🐧 💩. Even that is amazing. Awesome excursion. Now snowing again. J. You’re in slippers in the snow 🤦♀️. Wow. Killer and humpback whales in hunt. Amazing. Thanks for sharing. Great vlogs. See you next video.

They do a similar thing in Mammoth Cave to protect the bats. :)
Jay thanks for taking us along on this awesome amazing adventure!
Aw lil penguin hopping around in front of the whale bones!! 😍
Thank you guys! Absolutely phenomenal!
Started tearing up just watching this! How cool. It must be an awesome feeling to step foot on that continent.

I am living for these videos! Only thing keeping me from this cruise is the dreaded Drake Passage. I shall live vicariously through you J! :)
Same!
@@InMyCruisingEra the Drake just terrifies me. I would land in bed just like Lauren did. It looks like such an amazing trip though.

Definitely a bucket list to add that continent, but that is way to cold for me to spend my money on.
This is AMAZING!
Wow, that was amazing. I have to say, nature or not, I'm kind of happy the pod of Killer Whales didn't catch the Minke (this time)
This is amazing.
Hey J., Reminds me of Nat'l Geography. ☮🐳
