To The Point: Early Literacy

Learn about the efforts that MCPS has put into place to ensure that our youngest learners are building their literacy skills and to offer more assistance to those students who are struggling to read. Those efforts include new research-based instruction methods and teacher training. The program includes a video which showcases some reading lessons. The importance of early literacy is a key to students’ future academic success. Melaika Brown, Supervisor of Elementary English Language Arts for MCPS is the featured guest. Aisha Mbowe hosts the program.
