Paying my due diligence. Bought one on ebay for $40 and installed it in 5 minutes. Fits snug and flushed, beat all my expectations. Def do it, so much value in this upgrade for its looks. Thanks for the video, would have hated to take out the mirrors. This worked for me.
Tried taking the glass out first, then releasing clips from inside, smashed mirror glass once and eventually got them on. Fast forward a year later I bought another bm and tried this method, by far the easiest and fastest way! Great video 🤙🏻

I had my covers custom painted(F33/B38 - midnight blue metallic) and was worried about all of the other videos having you pop the mirror out which you run the risk of breaking the mirror $$$$$. Then I found your video WOW, it's just that easy and not one clip broken from the original. I'm so glad I was hesitant and kept searching you tube. THANK YOU Dominick. This actually worked. I suggest using an old card as mine got beat up a bit on the edges. Used an old membership card that I threw away once done. Took less than 5 minutes.
Well I was either this or taking off the glass and I'd rather break the clips than the glass. I got the caps off without breaking anything. Very helpful

Kies Motorsports and others recommended to remove the mirror first to losen the clips from the inside. Didn't work for me at all as I couldn't pinch the clips together. I did how you showed and it was much easier and faster.

Thanks! This is the simplest and easiest way to do. Did that and succeed : took only 5 minutes. Way way easier than pulling out the mirror.

This is the way to do it. Had both caps removed and replaced in 5 minutes. Don’t mess with your mirrors.

Juz did mine a moment ago. The 3 major clip(long) is fine . Broke the bottom clips (short) ;( maybe I go too deep with the credit card?
