one of the main things that needs to change imo is health class needs to actually inform students on drugs and current status of the general black market rather than just saying "dont do drugs they can kill you alright lets move on" a huge thing i see that correlates with this is fentanyl which a lot of younger people are dying from i think this is mostly because the music they listen to makes them assume they can just go find a perc on the streets but realistically you cant find them anywhere more people need to be informed on what could be out there and the different effects not only taking the drug but stopping the drug can have on you simply being told no its dangerous will never work on a teenager or even an adult more people also should be informed about organizations like dancesafe and local places you can test drugs at as we can see from all the reasons people do drugs people dont care if its dangerous so they need to be informed on how to use safely as well as why not to use
