I was watching my engineering son iron his shirt using the square end of the ironing board. I asked him why he was using the wrong end of the ironing board. He told me it was more efficient. You can iron the whole yoke at once and the two fronts and back can be ironed with only moving the shirt four times. I tried it and he was right. I just wanted to share.
No matter what I do, I can't remove creases from my clothes. IDK why I'm so bad at ironing. I've been using used irons so far. My current iron seems to randomly auto cool down so it never gets too hot. IDK if this is its feature or defect.
This was very good. It seems that all my through my childhood, it was a fight to stay pressed. I thought it was something I outgrew, like I magically became wrinkle proof! Then I made a dress out of fabric that has been in my stash from the late 90s. Hello, Wrinkles!! Can't wait for your next video. Stay well!

👍❤ This is the way we were taught to iron our shirts when I joined the Royal Air Force....nearly 40 years ago.🙂
That's amazing, then this is truly a well tested method, what a lovely story to hear

Yes not all fabric are created equal for sure, some are just cursed, now matter how well we do the ironing!
Can you help me with that one and I think that you are the one
Glad seeing you back
Thank you!
I can certainly see how that would make for a crisply ironed shirt! Thank you.
Happy to hear you found the method I showed helpful!
Hi Johanna!! Wonderful vlog.. I’ll have to try this way.. See if it’s any easier than the way I iron....

Should ironing polo always be on the reverse side?
What iron are you using?
❤I think that you can get me over there and let me do all the things you need for the day
If I could only get myself the nice, perfect classic shirt to iron ...
