I liked that we got to see a completely different side of Kizaru in this chapter. It was really strange but interesting seeing him just casually hanging out with everyone on Egghead, eating pizza, even doing the Nika dance. It makes me wonder if Kizaru had some kind of sympathy towards Kuma after seeing what he was willing to put himself through to save Bonney and eventually had to hide that beneath his usual emotionless, borderline sociopathic exterior so it wouldn't interfere with his job.
Tekking is one of the OG RUclipsrs, he may look young but he's been at the game for a very long time. He may be several years younger than me but yeah, in a sense he's my One Piece dad.
Kuma went to see Garp and tell him to raise his daughter because we all know Garp is the babysitter of all pirate kids. If they are a threat to the world government they will be raised by Garp and Dadan
"Babysitter". That old bag didn't do shit. He even let one of those kids die. Daddan and her group are the ones who really stepped up and raise those kids
Kizaru dancing the "Nika Dance" is nice. He is "Unclear Justice" so he truly is a Wild Card in what he'll do. I think Kizaru will start questioning his actions when PX-0 arrives or these are Death Flags for Kizaru since he's the last of the OG Admirals. Sakazuki is the Fleet Admiral, Kuzan left the Marine. So it feels like something has to happen to Kizaru now.
I feel like Kizaru might either join the strawhats (altough improbable) or join the Revolution (wich I think Is the most probable, given his connection to Kuma, Bonney and Vegapunk). The only way I can see him join the crew is if Vegapunk actually travels with the crew for a bit, and he joins to guard him. If he stays in the marines, I could also sorta see him join sword. Dang....up until now...I think we need to raise Saturn up as one of the most despicable villains in One Piece. And that's just one of them...imagine if one of the other Elders had a chance to show more of their atrocious character. Already, Saturn was okay for having the Celestial Dragons murdering a country's population for sport, INCLUDING A CHILD from a race that worships a god he and many others despised. Basically, wants him dead just for existing. Then, with this flashback just further emphasizes how sinister and wicked he is for ripping away any shred of happiness from Kuma by turning him into a mindless, soulless machine with no sense of identity or remembrance of his parents, Ginny, his Revolutionary comrades, Bonney, the elderly people he helped...all the interactions and camaraderie he made with Vegapunk, Kizaru, and Sentomaru...just gone. Any refusal will ensure Bonney will be a slave...a six/seven year old slave to spite him. (I believe he's responsible for Ginny's fate). And now....is raising Bonney, a child who wants nothing more than to be with her dad and murder the monster responsible for making his life miserable. I mean...sure, we have Doflamingo, Spandam, and Orochi when it comes to wickedness, but...Saturn just got high up on my shit list. I hope he gets the Ursus Shock of the lifetime for everything he did.
A lot of people have a feeling of gratefulness at the end in one piece. Remember Aces heartfelt Arigatou at the end? It's not so weird. In one piece at least.
Remember though that part of the will of D. is that members of that clan die with a smile on their face. dying without regret is written into the very lore of this world!
I liked how Saturn was able to shut vegapunk’s moral argument down by telling him “he’s a military scientist”. He already makes weapons, those weapons kill people, but he draws the line at dirtying his own hands. He’s truly a very naive guy
Alpha is Kalifa's twin. Hot nurse, hot secretary, both cp agents. Bonney whoops her ass and escapes, thus Akainu's statement. Kuma wasn't lying with his letter to Bonney. Vegapunk concocted a plan to circumvent Saturn's orders by removing Kuma's memories with his power, so they can be put back.
@@HapPawhereVery unlikely: Remember how extremely Stellar was against Bonney even going into the sealed room with Memory Bubble? Let alone let her touch it... Also do we all forgot that Bonney touched the Memory Bubble? It is gone now.
Something that I tend to forget is that Bonney is not Kuma's biological child. But it's because Kuma has acted like THE best dad to Bonney. Literally an amazing father. Not a father figure or a guardian, an actual father. To the child of the woman he loves and a Celestial Dragon that was DEFINITELY NOT consensual. He becomes the best dad in this series that makes me forgot they are not related by blood at all! Like oh my god Kuma is literally an amazing man, dad and character. Oda fucking delivered in this backstory.
One of the main themes of One piece is having a non blood related family being stronger than actual blood relations, thats the whole crux with the Straw Hats, the Franky Family, Don Flamingo's crew, Luffy Ace and Sabo, Sanji and Zeff, and so on...
Something that I find really interesting is how much of Kuma's eyes we get to see in the flashback, mostly cause how much they arn't there in the present. We see all his pain, grief, and joy in those eyes. something thats gone now.
Well they'd have to be a person who's significant enough to be a warlord so I would say that they're most certainly tied to the overarching plot. It's likely that they're in government custody though since that's where all former warlords end up in. Another visit to impel down? @@Xeno-The-Wanderer
@@evil.valentine I have doubts, could be a red herring. Heck I haven’t read the chapter but telling here says that the warlord’s dead so that could also put a wedge in there… but say they are alive. Okay alive, “marked by flames”, government probably wants them gone, may know some very important info… well no need for impel down they could very well be the shadow person at egghead that we haven’t heard from or mentioned in a while
Based on what has been said previously by characters about the man marked by flames, I don't really see anything conflicting with the idea he was a former warlord. And I would like to point out that if true, he's not locked up in Impel Down. Most hints we had up until now were from the blackbeard crew: - he sails on a pitch black ship, - can create whirlpools on the open sea - he's possibly aligned with the World Government. That last hint was from Shiryu himself. The former head warden of Impel Down, and up until near to the end of the pre-timeskip a resident of level 6 Impel Down, alongside ex-Warlords Crocodile and Jinbe. At the time Shiryu's guess seemed like Oda was just trying to discount Dragon as a candidate for the man marked by flames, but the idea of the man marked by flames being this warlord that got defeated by Ace actually completes the logic behind Shiryu's guess. It's no longer a throwaway line to keep people guessing. Shiryu would 99.999% have known whether or not the dude was in Impel Down, so why else deduce that the man marked by flames might be working with the World Government, if not for the reason that Shiryu never saw or heard anything of him in prison? If this ex-Warlord and the man marked by flames are the same person, it looks to me like we have an interesting scenario. A former pirate who had knowledge of or access to the lost 4th road poneglyth, who was powerful enough to become a warlord, was defeated by Ace and was kicked out the Warlords, only to join the ranks of the World Government directly afterwards instead of going to Impel Down. So I'm thinking we could have a "Darth Axe, formerly known as Silver Axe" type situation. That's a joke name obviously, but in terms of concept I think this would be cool.
Why did the make Kizaru so nice? I'm shock to see this side of him. Oh man that was a lot of information hitting us. Can't believe we are in away at the beginning of the story when it all started.
His justice is unclear so the man is a wildcard. Honestly considering he was never in the running for Fleet Admiral makes me wonder if the man is completely loyal or not
I think being a Buccaneer, Kuma will somehow know that Luffy is Nika and will then decide he needs to protect Luffy. Hence why he went out his way to save the SH crew and protect Sunny
Who is the Warlord that Ace defeated? My guess, it's Avalo Pizarro. Following pattern, the defeated Warlord is sent to level 6 of Impel Down. So either that former warlord is defeated in the prison fight, or they win and join the BB crew. Avalo was once a king of a kingdom in North Blue, then, he was overthrown by his people. This is the exact thing that happened to Doflamingo after Luffy defeated him.
It makes me smile uncontrollably big seeing Kuma and Bonney hug after she was cured but then Kuma doing absolutely everything Saturn asked of course and seeing more of Kizaru be with them even doing the nika dance is wild. Makes me think damn come on man do what you truly want to do for once and seeing Kuma at Luffy's village is crazy not to mention seeing all the other warlords react is cool.
He has it all archived and ready for when he needs it. But even then, he tends to forget some stuff Not say he's bas but i wouldn't call him perfect either. By no means
Okay, this might be entirely out of the blue, but didn't Kid set out to find the man marked by flames? It's quite possible, that this former warlord, who lost to the fire-fire fruit might be him.
I feel like the only way kizaru would betray saturn would be if he was about to kill bonney breaking his promise to kuma. Kizaru has a code that we can see when he fought sentomaru even though he could've avoided him so i feel like he has a lot of respect for this kind of things
@MrPsych77 No. He's a step-dad. Bonney's dad is some awful scumbag. You can cry and scream because it hurts your feelings but it doesn't change what's true.
@@ArrakisHeir88 not step dad adoptive dad. I seriously doubt the biological father was marrying her legitimately. Bellamire is nami's mom she was never once called her stepmom. Oda has made it clear how he feels about blood vs bond. So really your stupid technically is pointless. He is no less a father than kyros or Neptune or Oden.
Honestly, Devil Fruit powers aside, Bonney and, as far as we know, a bunch of completely normal dudes from the South Blue managing to get away from a CP8 agent is pretty impressive. I'm reminded of that Return To Reverie fan chapter where Bonney turns Stussy into a child. Makes me wonder if we'll see her do that with Alpha? It'd be the first time she used her power on another person too. Also definitely would go toward explaining the higher bounty, if she's not only the child of a Celestial Dragon but also an escaped government hostage.
Zoro’s Eye Theory: real pirates would use an eyepatch to cover one eye so when they raided a ship and had to go below deck they could switch eyes and have slight night vision. If during the Blackbeard fight BB did some kind of darkness world ability zoro could use it to see and possibly save a crew members life. 🤔
When I first found out about Kuma as one of the Warlord of the Seas, for some reason I was under the impression that he was one of the oldest Warlord. As in he's one of the Warlords that had that title the longest. But lo and behold he was probably the most recent Warlord during the time when Luffy started his adventure. This flashback man... Kuma has always been a character I wanted to know more about. He was such a mysterious. And my goodness Oda freaking delivers with this flashback.
Some things that came to my mind when reading the new chapter. 1. Emotional. 2. Kuma's paw bubble will return to Kuma and he'll get his memories, emotions and individuality back. (unless Bonney touching it made it go into her instead) 3. He will sacrifice himself to save Bonney, Straw hats, Vegapunk and Sentomaru.
I was wondering about that. It would kinda suck if Bonney touching the bubble meant there's now no way for Kuma to return... assuming memory bubbles and pain bubbles work the same.
With how much Kizaru is in this flashback & shown being happy I'm starting to worry that he won't make it out of this arc. Perhaps he angers Saturn & gets killed defending Vegapunk &/or Bonney?
This chapter has tons of great moments but seeing Kizaru do the Nika dance has to be my favorite. Every other character there is a good person and while Kizaru can be pretty ruthless I feel like that scene is the first time we’ve seen his true personality. Just a carefree fun-loving guy dancing with his friends. The first time his “lazy persona” has been cracked and he let loose.
Just to remind everyone Bonnie knows that her Dad pretty much sacrificed his body and soul for her... AT AGE 12!! Come on Oda Kuma's backstory is already very painful. But then you add the fact that Bonnie Knows this in intimate and graphic detail. Good Lord man... Edit:Also Oda please I beg you at least let Kuma see Sun God Nika just once! Even if it's on the subconsious level! He deserves at least this much for all that he's been through!
I feel like Kuma was ordered to go to Luffy's hometown to gather info for the Gorosei. They'd probably want to know how the current Nika fruit user is doing / if there's any way he might awaken the fruit. Also possible that Kuma was ordered to kill Luffy and lied about it.
Kuma: I'm in the East Blue, what are my orders? Saturn: Eliminate Monkey D. Luffy immediately! Kuma: I can't do that! This guy is wearing plot armor. Saturn: Dammit! I knew this wouldn't work, but I had to try it.
I firmly believe kizaru smoked his old hat, he ran out of things to wrap the good stuff in so, used the hat. Legends say his suit turned yellow that day, so did his vision
Matt, I have to commend you for this thumbnail. It shows no spoilers as usual, which is something I love about your thumbs, but much like Kuma's jolly roger on an unsuspecting target of his, it also masks the emotional devastation that happens in the chapter. Congrats.
I think Kuma just got naturally drawn to Luffy's village, the same way some fruits "choose" their user. There he meets Luffy or at least sees what he's up to and during that time he sees something in Luffy because Luffy makes him laugh. He goes to meet Dragon some other time and gets informed that Luffy is Dragon's son. Over time he reads of Luffy's exploits and eventually comes to believe that Luffy could be the one he's been waiting for all this time.
Something tells me that Kuma already knows about luffy's devil fruit or is about to here. He must have heard about the fruit from vegapunk. Also, when he first met the crew in thriller bark, I'm getting the sense that he was testing the crew's loyalty to luffy during that time. And when he was convinced of how deep it was, he saved them in sabaody, and intends for bonney to join them in the future. This follows the theme of inherited will, where bonney goes on and helps sun god nika liberate the world in kuma's stead. This will also, in turn, assures kuma that bonney is safe with luffy from the world government even after he's gone
I can remember the chapter 1,000 review as if it were only yesterday. Hell, I can remember the chapter 900 review as if it were yesterday! Good times! Keep up the awesome work!😎👍
Maybe Kumas finds Garp there(?) , remember Ivankov didint know about Luffy-Dragon relationship so maybe thats how Kuma finds out and makes sure to help his best friend son in the future without even realising he saved the new Sun God
Taking a shot in the dark... Former Warlord can possibly be the man marked by flames? Edit: Also, i feel like Dragon or Garp may come in to intervene. Not that they expect Kuma or anyone else for that matter, but probably by chance. Or even Dragon may have been tailing Kuma and he'll be the one to intervene and thats when Dragon will find out why that Kuma did this deal. Also it'd be a good time to reveal Dragons powers or bounty.... Or anything really.
Kizaru's name is Borsalino, which is the name of the type of hat that he wore before the current time, i think. idk why he stopped wearing it tho, looks good on him
I love that in chapters 1099 and 1100, we can see the personalities of I think every satellite in Vegapunk. Also, Is this the first time we’ve gotten older Ace, Sabo, and Luffy in the same chapter?
My theory towards the end: Kuma must have met Shanks before. Shanks putting his trust in Luffy must have inspired him to also put his trust into Dragons Son. He goes there to give him crutial information and repels them from him immediatly. He counts on him becoming strong enough to safe Bonney and maybe even himself later on, but he knows that there informations can only be released once the time has come. He needed someone who would reliably go to the top, and thats why he choose Luffy.
Why would he need Shanks to put his trust in Luffy? Couldn't he just naturally arrive at that assumption based on the fact that Luffy is the son of his closest ally?
@@enmysigmaquadrat9464 I don't see why the immediate assumption would be that Shanks must have told Kuma about Luffy when there's literally 0 reason to suggest that.
Man, I knew that this was going t happen but it still hurts a lot. Luffy beating Saturn is going to probably be one of the most cathartic things ever in this story.
I also like that aside from his own friends, only pirates have been shown to react to Kuma's news. A lot of fans don't seem to understand that the common people in One Piece don't care about anything related to pirates. They only care if it's about someone they know (like we often see with Luffy's friends) or if it's an immediate threat to them like Whitebeard possibly destroying the Navy. They often call it the "pirate world" for a reason. And it's realistic. Nobody irl cares about some infamous criminal on the other side of the world. Most people don't even care about news happening in their own country. And we got the internet.
12:30 I saw a comment theorizing that the missing warlord is actually the man marked by flames. If he fought Ace he would totally be marked by flames so it makes sense.
I don't think ace killed the former warlord, but I do think the government did after he was defeated. We saw them trying to kill off Moria after his multiple failures, so it may be safe to assume they just get eliminated afterwards if possible.
Doffy, Crocodile and Mihawk's reactions are so funny. Doffy's going full evil villain mode, Crocodile's acting like he doesn't care and is ordering people around, and Mihawk is staring into the distance with explosions behind him. It's just so them.
This is the first chapter review of tekkings that I’ve watched first before reading the chapter. Ngl I did not mind at all lol. I knew nothing to hype was happening so that’s why I decided to listen to his review first because I know how he breaks down the chapter in such great detail 😂 one love tekking!! Been subscribed since 2017!
When I read this chapter I was super confused about the king Jinbe mentioned before realizing it was Doflamingo lol. Something I really wonder about is why Vegapunk made 6 satellites when in this chapter he said he wanted 5 more of himself, Oda may be setting something up. Edit: forgot to mention this but Kizaru seemingly knowing about Nika and knowing the tune of the drums of liberation makes his reaction to seeing Gear 5 so much more impactful.
I think that the last panel has the opposite meaning Kuma was about to meet Luffy but because of the mission he doesn't land in Fusha and leaves to someplace else.
It was cool to see the montage of all the Warlords and other notable characters react to Kuma. Kuma's significance in the story honestly rivals any one of the Straw Hats.
The thing about an underworld figure having a moniker “deep sea current“ is extremely interesting to me from a lore perspective. we know that the way to the grand line is over the mountain, and that the marines can pass the calm belts in specialised ships. but these deep sea currents may actually be what the civilian population uses to switch between the blues and the grand line and the blues. My guess would be it is way more complicated than with a marine vessel, and likely, pirates are barred from using them, hence the two ways we know of.
Does Kuma telling Bonney that he’s glad she was born validate his existence? as in the beginning of the flashback Kuma couldn’t find a reason as for why he was born.
There's a chance that Kizaru gave his hat to a promising young marine who will return it to him after becoming a great marine.

Luffy has met people and forgot them in less than a month so it doesn't surprise me that he wouldn't remember him
I am surprised i can read.
Typical shounen mc, but he's so lovable. I'm still hoping for some character development.
That is Backup plan if Vegapunk want Kuma to be alive again
Or to told Bonney someday the complete story. hence why vegapunk waited for bonney to get older
@@HapPawhereVery unlikely: Remember how extremely Stellar was against Bonney even going into the sealed room with Memory Bubble?
Let alone let her touch it...
Also do we all forgot that Bonney touched the Memory Bubble? It is gone now.
Wait, that would be so sad@@catriamflockentanz
Something that I tend to forget is that Bonney is not Kuma's biological child. But it's because Kuma has acted like THE best dad to Bonney. Literally an amazing father. Not a father figure or a guardian, an actual father. To the child of the woman he loves and a Celestial Dragon that was DEFINITELY NOT consensual. He becomes the best dad in this series that makes me forgot they are not related by blood at all! Like oh my god Kuma is literally an amazing man, dad and character. Oda fucking delivered in this backstory.
Definitely landed on my short list of most favourite characters in OP
One of the main themes of One piece is having a non blood related family being stronger than actual blood relations, thats the whole crux with the Straw Hats, the Franky Family, Don Flamingo's crew, Luffy Ace and Sabo, Sanji and Zeff, and so on...
@@Warmaster00 whitebeard!
Vain
Something that I find really interesting is how much of Kuma's eyes we get to see in the flashback, mostly cause how much they arn't there in the present. We see all his pain, grief, and joy in those eyes. something thats gone now.
One very interesting theory is that the warlord that Ace defeated is the "man marked by flames"
Well certainly makes sense considering the whole flames thing but the question is who and why are they significant to the 4th poneglyph
Okay alive, “marked by flames”, government probably wants them gone, may know some very important info… well no need for impel down they could very well be the shadow person at egghead that we haven’t heard from or mentioned in a while
The warlord was Jinbe
Based on what has been said previously by characters about the man marked by flames, I don't really see anything conflicting with the idea he was a former warlord. And I would like to point out that if true, he's not locked up in Impel Down.
Most hints we had up until now were from the blackbeard crew:
- he sails on a pitch black ship,
- can create whirlpools on the open sea
- he's possibly aligned with the World Government.
The best part of the flashback is that it all makes sense. It feels like a very well planned and thought out story.
Kuma will accidently hear what luffy dream, that instant he knew that Luffy is Nika.
@@nickyminaj709 I just feel there has to be some relevance to the Buccaneer race is all, especially since it's been tied to Nika.
Awwww... that Kuma logo is so cute.❤
Imagine you're expecting the warlord, the tyrant, Kuma and that's the first thing you see
Who is the Warlord that Ace defeated?
My guess, it's Avalo Pizarro.
Following pattern, the defeated Warlord is sent to level 6 of Impel Down.
So either that former warlord is defeated in the prison fight, or they win and join the BB crew.
Avalo was once a king of a kingdom in North Blue, then, he was overthrown by his people.
This is the exact thing that happened to Doflamingo after Luffy defeated him.

Kizaru : „Dammit where‘s my hat?“
Bogard : 👀
It makes me smile uncontrollably big seeing Kuma and Bonney hug after she was cured but then Kuma doing absolutely everything Saturn asked of course and seeing more of Kizaru be with them even doing the nika dance is wild. Makes me think damn come on man do what you truly want to do for once and seeing Kuma at Luffy's village is crazy not to mention seeing all the other warlords react is cool.
Love how Oda did a callback to young Koby and Alvida! He truly never does forget
That's very basic writing.
When she said he seems as big as whitebeard, I got the vibe that Alvida has seen Whitebeard in person.
Well, he likely saw the live action recently so it's fresh in his memory...
He has it all archived and ready for when he needs it. But even then, he tends to forget some stuff
Not say he's bas but i wouldn't call him perfect either. By no means
@@anotherpawn ugh just have some fun and live a little
Okay, this might be entirely out of the blue, but didn't Kid set out to find the man marked by flames?
It's quite possible, that this former warlord, who lost to the fire-fire fruit might be him.
Ohhh interesting
Its an interresting possibility but still whyyyyyy? We know nothing of this person
I feel like the only way kizaru would betray saturn would be if he was about to kill bonney breaking his promise to kuma. Kizaru has a code that we can see when he fought sentomaru even though he could've avoided him so i feel like he has a lot of respect for this kind of things
Seriously Kuma will go down as one of the best dads in anime history.
Step-dad. So far the only good dads that I can recall are Neptune and Kyros.
@@ArrakisHeir88no. He is her DAD
Best I have seen since uncle Iro
Love the idea that he still has his other eye but is keeping it closed just in case
Me gusta
A warlord that was defeated by Ace and faded into the background after that? Man, I wonder if he was marked by Aces flames 🤔🤔🤔
This Chapter gave me tears... such a wholesome character Kuma
No
Shot in the dark:
The Warlord Ace took out is the "Man marked by flames" that Kidd mentioned
Actually though
I feel like it's highly unlikely but what if the missing warlord ace defeated turns out to be the man marked by flames 🤯🤔
ooooh nice connection
I'll shall come back to this comment once it's reveal (might be Saul or Dragon too) but good connection.
Honestly after reading this chapter I think there's a good chance Kizaru turns on Saturn and joins the Straw Hats
It’s fine dude.
What if… the Man marked by Flames is that Warlord? The one Ace beat?
Also Kizaru encouraging Kuma to be a Marine is… SO MANY EMOTIONS
Can we all give some respect to vegapunk? Man straigh up refused an order from gorosei.
And actually screamed in anger at one, his head is almost as big as his balls
I feel like Kuma was ordered to go to Luffy's hometown to gather info for the Gorosei. They'd probably want to know how the current Nika fruit user is doing / if there's any way he might awaken the fruit.
Also possible that Kuma was ordered to kill Luffy and lied about it.
Probably to check because shanks last aboard was Luffy village after that attack
@@HapPawherealso Garp would have flipped the entire world government if they touches luffy
Kizaru after this chapter it feels like he's about to pull a Gin
He was already friends with vegapunk and sentomaru which was already hard on him to be ordered to take them out
Man when this bit of the manga will be animated I gotta prepare the tissues 'cause Imma shed some heavy tears
Nice catch on the brothers! Will have to check some older chapters but you might be right.
@@anotherpawn Would you trust the son of your clostest ally, who has no contact to his father, with an increadibly important task? I wouldn't.
@@enmysigmaquadrat9464 I don't see why the immediate assumption would be that Shanks must have told Kuma about Luffy when there's literally 0 reason to suggest that.
@@anotherpawn Because he was the only one who saw the potential in Luffy to fullfill rogers dream.
@@enmysigmaquadrat9464 No arguing here.
X=Y and Z=A apparently means that X = Z
This chapter also means that Kuma dissobeying orders to let the Strawhats escape on Thriller bark and Shabondy is so much more
When they animate kuma telling bonney he is so happy she was born is going to be one of the scenes that makes me cry.
Usopp’s just a small town girl, livin’ in a lonely world… he took the going merry to the graaaand line.
The old man that was at Luffys village that spoke about his destiny etc, Im guessing Kuma talked to him about Nika and a bunch of other beliefs
Ending at Windmill Village makes me wonder if Kuma’s mission was due to the time Shanks spent there.
Maybe this “mystery warlord” is the man marked by flames. Maybe he got his mark or scar from fighting Ace
In my opinion Kuma talked to Luffy and heard what his true dream is, that's why Kuma protected Sunny during the 2 years of the time skip.
Kuma was obviously just hanging out with garp, at the goa kingdom, while garp was on vacation.
My theory is that the warlord Ace defeated is also going to end up being the man marked by flames. For obvious reasons.
Can you please ask me a question?
Hey Matt, after watching your videos for years, it only just hit me that you've gotten better at tying your tie,
good job
that's all I had to say.
Is it just me or does anyone else not notice the parallels between Kuma, Bonney and Ace right now?
Some things that stood out to me was how kizaru did the nika dance and mihawks reaction to kuma becoming a warlord
Saturn told Kuma when he was a kid the he was always going to be a slave. Saturn definitely got personal right here
The thing about an underworld figure having a moniker “deep sea current“ is extremely interesting to me from a lore perspective. we know that the way to the grand line is over the mountain, and that the marines can pass the calm belts in specialised ships. but these deep sea currents may actually be what the civilian population uses to switch between the blues and the grand line and the blues. My guess would be it is way more complicated than with a marine vessel, and likely, pirates are barred from using them, hence the two ways we know of.
The warlord that we don't know could be the man marked by flame aces flame
Maybe the for Warlord that Ace (defeated) is the man marked by flames.
Honestly didn't expect Kuma and Bonney to get a main character flashback series of events
I feel like Bonney is surely joining the strawhats after egghead.
Why is Kuma the best character in the series from the Warlords? Move over Doflamingo & Mihawk! Also great seeing all the pre-timeskip Warlords again
What if Luffys, “who are you?” reaction was because Luffy instantly recognized that what was standing in front of him wasn’t Kuma?
damn that’s exactly it because Luffy is a good judge of character
@@jonathanshamam9123 that part
