Imagine the previous travelers came to this fight saying this: Tressa and Alfyn: I'm sorry what? I thought we already put a stop to this thing?! Ophelia and Cyrus: unfortunately it appears not. Therion: ugh. Seriously? Again? Let's just get this over with. Primrose: agreed. Olberic: We've beaten you once demon. And we WILL DO IT AGAIN! H'aanit: thou shalt regret returning to this world beast
I always hate damage limits in games. Seeing 99,999 in games bothers me.its like.. if a skill is gonna hit for 140k and another skill hits for 46k 3 times. Why would I ever want use the 140k skill if I lose 1/3 of the damage due to an implemented cap. Anyways rant over, love this fight.
A good reason they would do this is to make it so that even superbosses can be defeated without taking advantage of super-specific synergies to do something like ~500k damage in one move. If they didn't cap damage at 100k, they would have to design the boss to have a number of hitpoints that would make it stay challenging even if somebody is using hyper-specific synergies. It depeends on what level of play they're designing for, and there are plenty of examples of superbosses designed with that upper threshhold of synergy (and absurd damage) in mind--They feel really bad to fight unless you're using those very specific strategies. And at that point, it just comes down to net-stratting it up. Which is kind of lame.
@@littlemoth4956 You gotta realize that this boss is after you've completed the main story and probably farmed up a ton as well You can deal like 20k to some of the late game bosses IF you go out of your way to get overpowered weapons with fight dodging passives. But you have full faculty over things like that. You don't need to pump Hikari full of NUTS to get him hitting the damage cap every swing of his 8-hit attack that's also buffed by Partitio to be an AoE instead of predominantly single hit. What I'm saying is the fight's not easy, this person just put in the hours to make themselves overpowered and I think they should be rewarded for that.
"you have been fighting with my gentials all a long, i was just warming up"
Much appreciated.

In the game you have a competence who can make a skill attack above 99,999 damages
@@gontandutry3396 no 99k is the max (from 9,999 to 99,999)

@@SokiHime Why don't they just make it so that characters can't do that much damage to begin with?
