The careful composition that uses the lead guitar tone soooooo beautifully to be the foundation of the whole melodic sound... and then you get the smoothness of the vocals, that are at the volume you'd sing a poem to your first lover nervously. It is simply divine in the biblical sense of the word. I hope my words are well founded, I'm doing my best to put in the effort to match my emotion. Thank you so much for writing Perfect Blue. It made you part of My Spotify Wrapped (2022)
I don't know if it's a coincidence but curiously the two bands that i have listened to a lot lately (Softcult and The Warning) and that I have loved their music since i heard them, have their guitarist and their drummer as vocalists!! Also in both bands the members are sisters!!

Madly in love with this song. The overall production and tone really reminds me of the darker period of Smashing Pumpkins and sometimes Manics. Here I am, maybe for the 56th time this week listening to this song, I crave it and the goosebumps I get from the section at 1:12
the lyrics resonate with what i'm currently going through. "just a product of your design"... a lot of us are ready to change in ourselves anything just to be liked by someone we love. but it also can change your inner self and the way you think and see the world. the moment you realize you've gone too far with altering the person you are hurts the most, because sometimes it's too hard to change back and become who you truly are.
