I like how you premix the colors and lay them down in slabs, then blend. It really pushes the color, and helps to tinker with the value of the rest of the paintings!
When you were doing the highlights on the turtle shell and you started applying red...I was like huh? Then when you added the black wash I thought BAM there it is, that's why! You never cease to amaze me! Thank you!

A beautiful painting, especially the turtle.However,, I was expecting you to push the water plants & the turtle back with strokes of water over them , randomly, to denote the under-water scene, otherwise they appear pasted on.Thank you. I like to see you paint some wild animals in a jungle setting sometime.
