  • OU Associate Art History Professor Robert Bailey and Distinguished Visiting Artist Joseph DeLappe, discuss DeLappe's exhibition "Resistance, Memory, and Play."
    Joseph DeLappe has been exhibiting electronic and new media work, including online gaming and sculpture, internationally for the past 40 years. A recipient of the 2017 Guggenheim Fellowship, DeLappe examines relationships between art, technology, and social/political concerns.
    Dr. Robert Bailey is Associate Professor of Art History at the University of Oklahoma, where he also has affiliate faculty status in Environmental Studies and in Film and Media Studies. At OU, Bailey teaches the history, criticism, and theory of modern and contemporary art as well as the historiography and methodology of art history.
    This exhibition has been made possible in part by an endowment from the Jerome M. and Wanda Otey Westheimer Distinguished Visiting Artist Chair at the University of Oklahoma.
