Welcome quattro friends! The start of a new journey is upon us, and I couldn't be more excited to see where it takes us. This car for me is a dream come true, I have been wanting another minty C4 5cylinder to daily and enjoy for some time now and after years of hard work I have finally made that possible.
When my best friend offered to sell me this car a few months ago I just couldn't pass it up. I have always wanted this majestic creature since the day he first pulled up in my driveway. Mad respect to my friend for giving me the time to come up with the funds and giving me a good deal on the car. He could have easily posted this car and made a lot of money off of it, but he didn't. That is respect beyond words.
Thank you Joe, I am forever grateful for your decision. If this car sold to someone else, we would probably never see it again. That would be a shame, but now this story will live on. I had so much fun working on these projects with you, it's amazing how a car can bring people so much closer together. Come take her for a rip anytime friend :)

I felt the same way when friend first pulled up in this car. If you saw it in person it would blow you away. The car drives amazing, the interior still smells amazing and it feels like your sitting in a time machine!

That is awesome, I have only had two random encounters in my lifetime. Both of them were in Chicago. I was riding hard through traffic late one night and I came up on a 92 Emerald Green just like my first car. I lost my shit as I had never seen one randomly in public.
I was at a stop light getting on 355 to drive home one morning and out of nowhere a pearl white UrS4 rolls passed with a huge front mount. My jaw was on the floor, beautiful car.
I brought my 94 out to a quattro meet last year and a guy showed up in a 95 S6 so that really made my day. We are friends now and I did a short video on his car before he moved away.
I've been through a lot for these cars so when I actually see one in person that I don't own, I have another level of respect for them. Seeing one in person is equal to seeing a McLaren F1 in person to me :)

Okay, it's official, you have convinced me to go VEMS. I'll need to learn how to tune, but VEMS just makes too much sense, and knowledge is power.
i just got a 93 s4 not mint but decent. needs all new bushings and the suspension components looked over as well. by far the coolest car ive owned. have years to get it where i want as im only 18

I have really been wanting a minty UrS6 Avant for my daily but I just couldn't pass up this car, especially with the history that I have with it. It is such a treat to drive and I hope to share the experience of this car with as many people as possible, including you friend ;)
@@quattro4life20vt no doubt! I've always wanted one as well. Trying to convince a friend down in Atlanta to let go of his Avant for me :) it'll prob never happen, they are too sick haha.

Looks like the cleaner version of my s6! Just picked up a 92 S4 for the rear swaybar, locking diff, and quattro back window upgrades. Super excited to see which route you take this build, will definitely be watching!

Awesome stuff. Recently picked up a UrS6 avant which is suffering from a bit of dental-drillitis after only 285k miles and can't decide if I should rebuild the stock turbo or go crazy with it. Nothing like a 5 cyl

What are the injection coils you are using since I have very little knowledge of parts for the AAN engine as well as parts for the S4 C4 chassis here in the USA it is difficult to get a part and almost everything I have been able to investigate has to be ordered that take up to 4 months to arrive for example the camshafts of the CAT CAMS brand
What is your experience with those ebay tube manifolds? I really just hate the stock manifold design simply because of the placement of bolts being impossible to get to...
I’m also wondering about that or what manifold is the best choice for flow and possibly quicker spool since my str is cracked and l need a new one. I’m running a precision 62/62 turbo and the goal is 500whp..
This manifold and homemade turbo kit have held up pretty good. I have not had a chance to look over the car but I plan on going through everything when I'm ready to install the suspension.
I am curious to finish the budget build car and see if this manifold will hold up to 30+psi of boost. Only time will tell...

Yeah, I am definitely spoiled for now... There is a lot of expansion going on in the area where I live. Because of this there are new business highways popping up connecting smaller towns to the larger ones. These roads are new and unfinished all the way. They open up one section at a time and will probably be a few years before they finish it. Once it's finished it will probably be too busy.
Luckily I live right up the road from one, they just opened a new section of it and no one seems to know about it so I'm taking advantage while I can. Sunday morning is the absolute best time to go for a rip. Everybody sleeps in around here so it's wide open for data logging and street tuning :)

Did you mount from the armrest for this POV or hang from the sunroof area?
Suction cup mount on the sunroof glass, works perfectly every time.
