Thank you for the Deaf News briefs. Here are my thoughts on some of the news that were shared.
As for Mia winning the Miss South Africa pageant, she said, "I am a proudly South African deaf woman..." there is nothing to be proud about. Pride is a terrible thing. Even God Himself says in the Scriptures that He hates pride.
As for the two separate EEOC discrimination cases, I am pretty sure the Deaf plaintiffs will win!
