Grand River College Bass Tournament

This tournament is from late June on the Grand River in Michigan.
Mason and I were fighting to maintain our top 10 ranking in the state and we were coming off a very poor finish from the day before so we needed a decent rebound.

The fish were extremely picky late in June. This is normally a froggin and flippin extravaganza, but the fish wouldn't commit to what I normally throw. After some adjustments the only thing I could get them to bite was an Xzone true center stick, weightless. Any extra fall rate and they wouldn't commit. We thought we would have this area to ourselves but quickly realized we had the wrong impression when there was 10 other boats in the area between our tournament and a couple others. The fish got pressured quick, so our slow approach really helped us out in the long run.
