If Mitchel beats Boston, he definitely will get to the finals, it’s definitely possible with there length they are one of the teams that match up well with Boston. Unfortunately the media makes it seem like they just will fail but they definitely have the talent. It’s just expected for brown n Tatum to get it done

As always Hoop an excellent film Breakdown of how Mitchell attacks defense. My one knock on Mitchell has always been his defense. He has been compared to his idol D-Wade who I watched play in his prime and Mitchell isn't an elite on-ball defender but he has the size, strength, an athleticism it just comes down to putting for the effort(which he does occasionally) and having the defensiveinstincts.

I can't decide if Mitchell is worth building around. As a Jazz fan, of course I love him. His performance against the Thunder in 2018 as a rookie still has me floundered. On one hand, I think he would be very good as a primary ball handler and play maker on a team, on the other hand, I sort've subscribe to your best player needs to be at least around 6'6", Ant maybe the one exception, to win a title.
Possibly the best use for him is to be the pg on a team, but is not the 1rst option. I would like to see him on a team where he paired with a guy with size in the back court. I think he could run the offense, but even in that position, he shouldn't have the burden to carry the team in scoring. Rather, I would like his role to be 2nd option on offense (though he's the PG running the offense, most of the plays called are to setup the #1 guy to score), making use of his off ball and on ball capabilities. The reason for this is that when he doesn't have most of the offensive burden for the team, he will have the energy to play both sides of the floor. In Utah, it often felt like he was too gassed to play defense because his burden on the offensive end was too great.

get SPIDA outta Cleveland or move Mobley for a usable outside threat/better asset in general. i just don’t have faith in CLE’s shooting development (for Mobley) specifically. not in the short time they have to make a serious run at the East. they’ll lose to BOS in 6 or 7 and they’ll continue to lose to more talented teams as Jarret & Mobley both remain -5 3pt att. per AND - 38%3tp% shooters. as well as non-playmakers.
LeVert has also been a player that needed to be moved last szn. he’s either on the injury report…or plays like he thinks it’s ‘18
    and he’s in BKN or something. a shot-jacker & a quick-fouler.
Keep Okoro forever, i feel like Rubio retiring opened a void that’s never really been filled. there’s no trustworthy playmaker in the -D.Mitch minutes. I wish Mobley was more Banchero than Late Miami Bosh.

One thing I notice Brunson and Mitchell have that Tatum is lacking is a trust in their subconscious decision making. A trust in their bodies and minds to be able to make decisions as the play unfolds, rather than predetermining what they are going to do and having to stick with it no matter how the D reacts. I think that is like the #1 swing skill that determines whether a volume scorer will be able to up their game come playoff time/when intensity and effort ups a notch. Can they just play and react and trust in their ability to read and react with alllll of their various moves they know they have mastered. Watching it in live action I feel like it doesn’t always make it clear if a move was pre panned or not, but the more you watch and study the more you can tell which guys are just starting an attack and then able to counter out of it with whatever they need to, on the FLY. It’s honestly not easy, BUT I think it all comes down to letting go, and just trusting in your work and your subconscious body and mind.
