Nice little walk in the park with a good view reward at the end.awesome! I haven't hiked for a long time until last weekend. I went to the Warrumbungles and did a 15 km hike to the top of the mountains. Pretty rugged country with a 960 metre elevation from start to finish. Was really worth it for the scenery, but at 70 years old, it nearly killed me ! Haha
Wow that’s a bloody good effort at 70! I think it would be a tough hike for anyone so props to you for doing that, and glad you made it out alive! haha. Thanks again for watching.
Another great video, thanks for sharing. Nice metaphors of “the path”. Wondering: is it common for there to be a walking track to be made on the path in these areas? I had not seen those here in the States and curious if that protects the environment or if it is more of a footprint because of the materials involved.
Thanks heaps Scott! They definitely aren't used in every national park but you make a good point. I would think that just the dirt track would be enough but they recently rebuilt the track here, so maybe a lot of people were going off track, creating their own paths and ruining the vegetation. There were so many little off tracks on this hike!
@@roamingtheblue Thanks for the background and looks like an amazing hike. Sometimes getting lost is the best part of the adventure. Looking forward to the next trek!
@@Krohvanni Ah, thank you, that makes sense. A sandy track would be much harder to walk in and this tread would not do much harm to the environment: definitely a good precaution to keep the hikers safe with a minimal footprint. Cheers.
Always enjoyable to watch ! Australian national parks are amazing. Loved the inspiring philosophy moments at the end. Thankyou.
Thanks again for watching! We do have a lot of great national parks here, so much variety too.

They are used in many National Parks here, especially on fragile sandy tracks.
