I've never understood why Mr.Pierrepoint, the British Nr1 executioner, was not chosen to do this important job, given that his reputation for excellence was well established. After all, the Americans knew of his methods, when he was engaged by the Americans to carry out American death sentences in Britain, which was British law. Strange.
no tears were shed for julius.... he had no remorse for the hell he caused... and that makes me happy for John C. Woods... it brings a tear to the eye of this former Kansas...
So you believe the news? Do you believe in public health care? Do you believe in Sadam Hussein's " chemical weapons" , Do you believe in "Gaddafi the monster" Do you believe in " the Nato are the good boys",? In Tonking/ Vietnam? Red pill or blue pill?
I have no issues with the executions of these people but, why allow the brutality beyond the snapped spine? And what of the men who were pardoned to continue working for the American and Russian military?
So it all makes perfect sense , The country that claims free speech tortured him to death for things he said . The more things change the more they stay the same .
Freedom of speech does not absolve the speaker from the consequences of his words. You seem not to understand the concept. As Oliver Wendell Holmes said, "Freedom of speech does not mean the right to falsely cry 'Fire!' in a crowded theatre." That's why Trump is legally and morally responsible for January 6 and the deaths the riot he inspired caused.
I'd like to preface my comment by affirming my long-held position that not even Indiana Jones hates these guys as much as I do. That said, your statement is exactly what I was thinking after watching this. We have people in the U.S. right now that do the very same thing with absolute impunity.
Some historians debated that they were intentionally botched so that the Nazi criminals would feel the full process of pain while dying.
The hangman didn't have a clue how to do the job.
@@MultiPrairiedog Nazis didn’t care how the butchered people either
Old Woodsy was a certified electrician as well. 😂
Karma.

The guilty were justly punished, nothing went wrong.

Can't imagine an execution going wrong......? Did they survive?
I’m so heart broken, I might just cry.
No great loss.

The British executer was more competent than him
He was a proffesional, so of course he was. The sgt had no exp as an executioner.
oh just let gravity do its work
Woods should have been stopped after the first time. And Court martialled.
And everyone in charge should have been replaced and demoted .

The trap door and incompetent hangman, this botched procedure was done on purpose.

And your point is?
Mercy for Nazis?

The same guy who picked the American and British top brass must have chosen Wood for hangman. Most were incompetent.
They won!
I don't know. Killing a man who pushed a pen but didn't pull a trigger is questionable.
Do you mean like Herr Hitler?
It's murder. He spoke words that powerful people don't like.

I don’t believe it was what he said that got him shot. It was what he did. Big difference.
You seriously taking this perspective?
@@theskyehikerYeah, but what did he do?
