I am facing same prob screen damage. I am newbies in hardware part so how it is shown in videos it is like that only i mean i can do that without any extra resources
To avoid shorting your LCD cable as some people who don't know how to connect it properly, you can short your motherboard by not unplugging the battery before doing this!
@@arfanahmed6393 Actually... I wasn't able to properly fix it by myself. I realized I still had some warranty left and gave it back to HP to fix it and I have no clue what they did with my laptop. Good luck trying to fix it yourself though but I strongly recommend you try to get it repaired even if it might be costly without warranty because you don't want to cause more damage. With warranty, my repair was free because I kept quiet about the fact that I may have caused the touchscreen issues.
Wheres the audio? Why not explain what you're doing while you do it? Thanks for not just BLASTING music. Silence isn't great, but way better than just BLASTING your viewer with noise!!!
This saved me $200 thank you so much man
Does screen replacement keep the same pen function the same ?
It's a good idea to put the bottom cover back on so that you don't damage any components. I just put 2 screws in temporarily.
Thanks for your comments
What’s the difference between the 15CN and 15CP?
What tools did you use?
What screwdrivers did you use for the back cover
do you have a 4k version of this screen by any chance?

After starting to attempt this, Screen in video was obviously already broke loose from back.
I tried this and now my touchscreen has disabled completely. Any tips?
