The love between Wennuan and Nanxian is very strange, both of them love each other, but between them no clear communication, each hiding and living in their own world and thoughts. Nanxian let Wennuan to decide how their relationship goes, Wennuan decided to depart, then she felt hurt. Frankly speaking, I don't underhand this love. I like the character of Linlu, very sweet and loving.
I think, the writers/producers, wanted us, as the audience, to produce these conflicting emotions! It was suppose 2 bring out expressions & these different reactions! It's why they incorporated so many twists & turns in the story!!
WN also suffered from severe depression for 7 years so that's make her very fragile. Everyone expects her to fight back for what she wants but she is also consumed with guilt that she caused the death of her father and NX's father. Of course she didn't but with NX's mother extreme hate for her etc etc I get her state of mind
I don''t know its the same director but its the same story and making style so Director /writer must be the same. Try watching Because of Love and My Sunshine. very very good drama.

Nanxian's logic and behaviour is really weird! How can a person on one hand announce his engagement to another and profess at the same time that he's not going to his true love go? I think he's got split personality. After all the criticisms of the character of Nanxian, this doesn't detract from my admiration of Zhang Han as an actor. He's brilliant as is Janine Chang!
NX and Yixin games are to much! If they planned to go after Pan, then Wen Nuan should have at least been let in on the game. NX doesn’t now or never has deserved her. This relationship should have never happened! I’m glad his plans blew up in his face because it was never really about Wen Nuan. NX needs to practice what he preaches! WTH in the end nothing changed really, I mean first she leaves, later he leaves, nothing resolved! Just my thoughts even if it is a drama, should’ve given a better closure to viewers!

WTH in the end nothing changed really, I mean first she leaves, later he leaves, nothing resolved! Just my thoughts even if it is a drama, should’ve given a better closure to viewers!
