For those of you who like Armored Core. The person who designed the ASFX Shinden is Shōji Kawamori, the designer of many of ACs early mechs, and White Glint in Armored Core for Answer
I remember in one part of Tuga's AC: AH's Avoiding DFM series he used the Shinden in the mission called "Power Play" and someone commented with *"HOLY SHOT THE ASFX IS SEXY!"* followed by "Maybe it'll appear in an actual AC game eventually" -discounting its existence in AC:I- Man that comment has aged well, I wonder if he got the chance to use the Shinden in AC7.
Ace Combat Fan's wet dream, and Japan's pride and joy! xD Leaving jokes aside, i can't stop to wonder that PROBABBLY this how the F-35 could have performed if the variant "B" was avaible, knowing how lacky is the "C" variant, out of all the special unique Aircrafts, this one doesn't have an outstanding armaments (It feels more like a F-2) but holly hell... it feels damn smoth to fly with.
Finally making an entrance to Strangereal, the Shinden is actually a pleasant surprise for me! While its weapons are standard, its performance is more noticeable, especially at low speeds, which makes RKT quite fun to use with it! Anchorhead was a good choice for it there, its arsenal is certainly well suited for this mission!
Never knew about those hidden oil tankers or 2nd set of container drones that you killed at 2:14. Interesting. I also picked this mission for my Shinden's first flight. Obvious choice with the LASMs and 6AAMs.
Damn dude, Not only did you absolutely murder the two pilots in the end. You had to decimate thier corpses while they fell to earth. Thats some real sick piloting lol
This mission always makes me wonder about how many careers Trigger has ended, how many widows and orphans he has left. How many centuries of combined effort he destroyed, the time and resources used to build the materials he destroyed or the years of training and hard work that all the personnel he killed went through. Imagine wiping out pretty much the whole navy of a continental power, attacking their three biggest fleets and port facilities, wiping out their top commanders and best trained crews. Still, the Shinden looks sick!
Gotta give Trigger/Three Strikes credit: he doesn't do things halfway. The fact that enemy pilots practically soil themselves when they realize he is their opponent, the commanders pretty much HAVE to include Trigger in reports to have them accepted, he might as well be a living nightmare for them.
@@rafengamer6296 Well to be fair the Eruseans while formidable foes. Aren't necessarily as tough or skilled compared to the Belkans during the Belkan War. The Belkans fought to the death once they realised the Demon Lord was in the area. While they were fighting out of fear they also knew that backing out and running would be cowardly and would rather go out fighting to the bitter end. Also, the Belkans were fighting against 2 superpowers and like 4 or 5 smaller countries (at least smaller compared to Yuketobania and Osea) all at the same time lmfao. Put Cipher in Triggers position and the Eruseans would be begging for mercy.
Used the Shinden for 3 story missions and it was a treat. The other 2 planes are good, but they don't "feel" as good as the Shinden.. Hard to describe. The Nosferatu plays very heavy, stalls easily, by comparison. The Shinden is just soooo good.
Forgot the Shinden existed since I blocked Assault Horizon out of my mind. Nice to see it come back in a better game! Honestly this thing looks like an absolute joy to fly; correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like it's designed to remain as stable as possible no matter what speed you're flying at? Looks ideal for an assault pilot :)
Mitsubishi ASF-X (F-3) Shinden II: a high-tech support fighter with VTOL characteristics. It fits perfectly with Japan's defense doctrine. According to her, first you destroy the enemy fleet and provide support to the infantry, and then to the air force. Such assumptions are made by the Mitsubishi F-2, a relative of the F-16. In the real world, ASF-X would be complicated to build. Many innovative solutions used in it have been refined over the years. Fortunately, the Japanese Air Self-Defense Force and the Naval Self-Defense Force will soon have a similar fighter. This is Lockheed Martin F-35B Lightning II. The only question is which ODF branch would use the F-35B in the AC universe. And what skins would the F-35B have on the AC7 if it showed up? I know it is not the point of the video, but following the comms it becomes impossible to not see many of your enemys as fellow humans who just want to protect their country and brothers in arms.
This is the same mission I tested Shinden II on. But I tried to use the rockets with the neutral stalling too much and kept crashing into the radar on ships.
@@TugaAvenger i do. after removing variable engine and queens custom, IE all acceleretion parts the plane worked propperly. the mp parts DO NOT cause the bug

I tried using the CFA with EMLs for this mission and it went terribly. The Shinden does CAS much better than the CFA. The Shinden, however, really struggled with SP03. Or I'm just a bad pilot. Maybe RKTs weren't the way to go
And lastly, the sort-of baby of the bunch (though the actual title goes to the Raven now), the Shinden! Sadly, I'd say this plane is the least interesting performance wise of the three planes. By no means bad, it certainly flies well, it's just... Not quite as interesting. The special weapons definitely hold it back in my opinion. 6AAMs are meh, rockets are okay, and LASMs are decent. I wouldn't say it's as bad as the FALKEN in the blandness department, but it can certainly see the FALKEN through a glass bottom boat. But still, a solid plane. Just... Kinda wish it did something a little... More. So overall, this plane pack is... Interesting. The planes definitely have some oddities to them and they're all decently fun to fly. I would say the XFA is the best of the three, with the Nosferatu in a close second with the Shinden just barely trailing behind. And now, the DLC tier list overall. I’ve always wondered does the shinden have a hook for landing on carriers, because it does have a hook for a carrier’s catapult which I assume means it is carrier compatible.
I don't think it is, but I'm not sure. That said, there are non-carrier aircraft with hooks for emergency landings, like the F-15. Arrestor cables can also be used in regular airfields.
I doubt it. The previous times we had V/STOL aircraft (Assault Horizon and Infinity) they entered a very slow stall and you had complete control over the aircraft as it slowly descended. I’m hoping we might get more V/STOL aircraft, so the harrier, F-34B and Yak-141.
It isn't VTOL, but the stall speed is VERY low.. You can decelerate to about 240 and the plane is practically hovering. It won't hard stall and drop until you go lower than.. 230? Will need to check again.
Is anyone else having problems with the shinden II? I try to accelerate and it will not go above 500KMPH. If I hold the accelerate trigger and deceleration trigger on my controller it goes up to only 800KMPH.
