"Films, and certain film directors in particular, have been as much an influence on our work as almost any musicians or songwriters. Director David Lynch would easily be considered one of those who managed to entrance us with his work over the last 40 years, and I recall with clarity the excitement of heading out as a band, after a long day's work in our London studio to experience late night showings of his initial cult movie, Eraserhead. It was from out of that movie that the burgeoning and somewhat unique reputation of David Lynch started growing. From that point our own fascination with his entertaining and unnerving vision kicked in hard. […] If I had to choose one Minds song above all else that I feel might have been inspired by the same kind of disquieting and dreamlike underworld that gives birth to Lynch's tales? I reckon ‘Room’ from our Empires and Dance album might just fit that bill.” (Kerr, 24th June 2018)

Man! I mean, good lord! More from the Empires and Dance. Absolutely adore it! Was expecting a rapturous breakthrough into the heavy rancorous feeling of the song multiple times, but this sort of dreamy-trod through the song is also fantastic! The path less trodden, to be sure of.
Your mixes are brilliant - the band should hire you for an official release!

I wish more vaporwave sounded like this - slow and trippy, but with *regular* vocals still. I don't know if you were trying to make this vaporwave, but it made me think of that.

Thank you, Tara! If it sounds vaporwave-ish, that wasn't the intention. Perhaps there is a similarity due to soundtrack-like atmosphere, though.
I'm fairly sure you spend as much time and energy on getting the right visuals and then adapting them for your tracks - and it shows - and the visuals are just as excellent as your adaptations! Really well done stuff.
Thank you. Yes, the visuals should somehow enhance the music. Whether or not they "work" is, of course, subjective. As a rule, the visuals are an afterthought, though. The music's the main thing.
