Christopher do you have issues with your cover flapping so much it makes noise at highway speeds? I can not get mine tight enough and it is adjusted as tight as it will go. It just seems the material used for the top is too heavy and there should be three spreader bars instead of two. Thoughts or comments?

If I don't like the clamps on each side rail is there any reason I couldn't drill holes and use small bolts to attach instead of the clamps?
Your truck, you can do whatever you would like. Drill away and make spots for rust to start.
