Love your intro/outro!😂 Yeah that’s not a surprise. For me the P1 Hush is way too big for me. I think the IS 1/3 piece is my fav Supes. I missed it when it was out. I’m thinking of picking up the modern SS Supes. Chris please do an Iron Man best of!!!

While batman who laughs was the first prime1 1/3 I order Hush superman was my first ever 1/3 to get my hands on thanks to a local store and it just blew me away seeing these statues for the first time the size and detail is amazing.

Totally agree with this list, personally the new Tweeterhead Superman really can be the next number 2, maybe not number 1 but has the real potential to be top notch (even though it's a sixth scale and not quarter or third)

You might be shocked, but I am a Superman fan, but not a Superman "collector" per-sa, as I am happy with one or two awesome Superman statues only. SS 2019 PF I have and wanted the 1/3 Cyborg Superman but decided I can't keep going down the 1/3 route so holding out in hope someone does a 1/4. I wanted Superman Call To Action but the Sideshow Con showed it and the fabric cloths looked all dusty and it put me off a bit! Everyone says the Superman Hush is best out, but I'm not that into it. I think the SS PF is more my Superman too me.
The original SS PF is definitely a solid statue, especially if you get a custom cloth cape for it. I agree on the new SS PF. I actually own this which I like much better.

I'm less than a year into collecting and not been into the OG statues I've seen. Quality has definitely improved since. Seems to be less fabric also. This is probably why I hesitate on the Call to Action and Reeve Superman. Dust magnets. Helps to have limits funds, so I can be picky!
I’d feel sooo much regret for having hush on preorder then cancelling. My problem was I hesitated because it would be the most expensive statue I’d ever purchased. In hindsight, it’s a deal. Any comment on the newest superman statue from P1? Dark Knight version. As a Batman fan you might like that one.
It's not my cup of tea, but if you like the stories it's amazing!!

P1 hush was a no brainer for #1 (for licensed pieces.) for me, he’s too bulky and angry. My all time favorite is the Tiger J custom Michael Turner Superman. That one is *chef kiss* PERFECT. I do really dig the newly reveled SS Christopher Reeve too

I am very surprised that the iconic Bowen (Seinfeld) Superman statue didn't make the top ten. I thought maybe Tweeterhead's piece might make the list too, but my guess is that the drama over the original and the re-issue hurts it's standing amongst collectors. It is also very similar to the OG Sideshow PF, which doesn't help it's case. Also, since you included statues yet to be released, I'm shocked the upcoming "For Tomorrow" from Oniri Creations didn't make it (when Cyborg Superman did; he's a totally different character. He's connected to the Superman universe but that's like if you included a Supergirl statue in this list.)
That sideshow one comes so close to capturing Christopher Reeve's face

just subscribed, great list, i own only two prime 1 statues - Prime 1 Hush Batman and Prime 1 Hush Superman.... when i bought them, i was like "damn this is too much, they are so big, heavy and massive, i think this is too MUCH for me" ... and you know... i am still thinking it :D , it was too much....they are so big and heavy that everytime when i enter the house, i am worried that i will find them on the ground destroyed.....

My absolute # 1 Superman Statue of All Time: The Warner Bros. Store Exclusive Silver Age Superman. Released in 2000. Perfect representation of the character. Looks like he stepped out of a silver age comic. Simply doesn’t get better!

Call to Action statue is SICK!!! My only gripe is I wish it was full plastic instead of cloth covering his body.

Sideshow premium format Superman the best, because it's New52 inspired
Bowen Superman statue should be #1. Although smaller scale, this is the most classic modern Superman and nothing is more iconic than being featured on the greatest tv sitcom “Seinfeld”. I still own this and imho beats every steroid looking Superman statue released. Same with the iconic Bowen Batman Neal Adams style classic statue. Withstands the test of time and both are best of the best.

my number 1 and prized piece is The Alex Ross Kingdom Come Superman statue and The KC Capatian Marvel Statue. The Superman piece doesnt get any better.

It's hardly a surprise that my favourite Superman statue wasn't even a fleeting thought for inclusion but my favourite Superman statue is the 2004 DC Direct Jim Lee Hush Superman, It's the only Superman statue I own as I believe It's unsurpassed. At around ten inches tall It's going to be way too small for most modern day collectors but It's a fantastic piece. I really liked the Red Son Superman statue but I can't abide mixed media so gave It a wide berth, It's a good looking statue though.

I can see why the Hush Superman from Prime 1 was voted #1. It’s simply an amazing piece! But, I’d be happy to own any of the top 10. However, I do prefer the non Henry Cavill statues. They are more comic book/iconic where Cavill is more movie based. Nothing wrong with those, it’s just my preference.
Wassup with all these youngsters passing the iconic old school Bowen Superman from Seinfeld fame? Sure, it’s rather small. Not modern like these new ones...but it’s historical in a way. That Bowen Superman probably jump started the whole superhero statue craze.

And here it is 9/27/2022 and I got an email saying they wouldnt take my last payment on the Reeve Superman until November. Its the first time Ive bought 1 and its almost 2 years since it went for preorder. Sideshow should be more transparent on issues with production and delivery.
Irony is I'm in the middle of the Death of Superman, Rise of the Supermen, Return of Superman (one im on) and then Doomsday storyline...all very thick graphic novels... Cyborg Superman is the key antagonist...destroys Coast City (Green Lantern's city) which drives Hal Jordan to become fearful... subjecting him to become possessed by Parallax... cleverly connected.

Cyborg Superman is Hank Henshaw, esentialy his mind in a cloned superman body, Hank being a Technomorph he has full control over nearly every type of technology, even the ability to hack green lanterns rings.

Are they really the best of all time? So dissapointing to be honest, they could have done better especially the christopher reeve the body and everything just perfect but not with the face. But for the best of all I choose the clark kent superman its better than the rest.

Surprised the DK3 Prime 1 Superman didn’t make the list. Ppl say he looks like Elvis but I think it’s true to the source material. Problem is the pose is too static in my opinion.

As a Superman fan, why are so many Superman head sculpts so angry?! Even the Reeve statue looks moody!
I think IS 1/3 Superman is being a little underrated here. Yes the portrait isn't quite right but the sculpt, paint and base are amazing. It lights up don't you know. Makes for a fantastic bed side light. I would rate it higher then 6.
Am surprised I haven’t seen the Henry Cavill Black Suit as in my opinion is a monster statue. Plus you breathe batman so black is what you should go for 😜
