I have to admit the batman who laughs gets my vote every time. It is so visually appealing that you don't need to be a batman fan to appreciate it. It has so many other aspects that can be appreciated artistically.
Great list. Just wanted to note a mishap in the description of the flashpoint Batman from prime 1. In the story, back in crime alley Thomas Wayne made a move to stop the killer and Bruce got shot. Thus Thomas became Batman and here is the trick, Martha didn’t die but she went crazy after her son Bruce died and she became the joker kidnapping and killing other kids to fill in her gap...

What a great video! Thanks for this! I have to agree with the top three though I'd switch 2 and 3 around. I also think the upcoming Hush may be the best Batman statue we've seen though I think the DKIII Batman is very close to taking that spot. Another Batman statue I'm very fond of is the Iron Studios 1/3. I prefer the original gray and blue but the black version is really cool too. It reminds me a lot of the Keaton Batman.

My favorite BATMAN statue would have to be my first statue ever. BOWEN DESIGNS BATMAN crouched over gargoyle, from the early 90's . All the others would be a little hard to put into any kind of an order. Thanks for sharing.

I may have only just gotten it yesterday, but I’m nonetheless convinced that Prime 1 Knightfall is the best Batman statue ever, in perpetuity…until someone makes a better one of the suit like if Batman decided he’d rather be The Punisher, so he commissioned Tony Stark to make him Wolverine-armor
Knightfall was cool. I'd consider Azrael, but if they actually made a Batman from the early Knightfall comics where he was very Spawn like that would be cool.

Interesting List (just applied to the Facebook Group). Here's mine
1. Batman New 52: Despite its flaws, this one is my favorite. It captures Batman's Character perfectly in my eyes. I love the 52 costume and also a fan of shattered windows and gargoyles
2. Batman Keaton Sideshow PF: Keaton is my favorite version of Batman. Sideshow hasn't made that many good movie portraits in my opinion but this is a rare exception. They knocked this one out of the park
3. Batman Who Laughs: Every inch of this statue looks perfect. No cons
4. Batman Master Race: Another perfect statue with no cons. BWL just turned out more impressive
5. Batman Knightfall: I love everything about this statue except the fabric cape. Normally I only get 1/4 scale but I love it so much that I decided to pull the trigger.

If you had asked me a year ago, I would have said TDKR OG was the best Batman statue ever produced, but I also have an affinity for that storyline too. Now after seeing the Master Race in reviews, I think it could be the best. However.....I agree that HUSH Batcave Batman is everything you could want out of a comicbook Batman piece, especially if your a Jim Lee fan. I had to order it and I suspect it will become my favourite Batman statue. Its phenomenal, and I think the right choice for the top of this list. Great list, many thanks Chris!!

Batman Beyond White statue takes the cake for me. The pose is a bit boring but it is absolutely stunning. I wish I had it but I found out it exists too late :/

I got the Kotobukiya Thomas Wayne Batman and love it. I even bought a copy of the graded comic the statue is based off of which I display with it. Now just missing the newest one where he is holding Aquamans trident. I’m hopeful that they will make another statue.
I got 4/10 Batman top ten statues voted here including the Top 1 Hush Batcave version and I totally agree with the top 1.

Great video. I’m a fan of P1’s half scales too. Their Armoured Batman is a great piece (if you are prepared to overlook the source material) - it has a fabric suit underneath all that armour. Great attention to detail.

Interesting list. I would have put the Dark Knight Returns lower and Batman who laughs higher.
As for number 1, although it looks beautiful it's not out yet so hard to put it at the top yet.
For me my top 5 would be:

4. Batman Arkham Knight (battle damaged)

Would be fun to revisit this list again in the future. Kind of surprised the upcoming Batman Zero Year from P1 or the Batman Shogun from XM didn’t even make the list. I have both of those ordered and looking forward to receiving them. Hopefully they’ll make it on a future list!

I think the prime one Batman vs joker dragon and the Batman zero year definitely deserved spots 👌 along with the xm shogun Batman on the horse

Some phenomenal pieces! I'm guessing that the Batman Who Laughs is going to continue to rise through the ranks as people keep getting it in. I actually quite like the pose of the Batman Hush. It's unique and a nice change. I think the Batman Dark Knight (Frank Miller) might be my favourite of the bunch. Absolutely insane. The Prime 1 Hush Batcave edition might tie for first for me, but I need to see it in collectors hands first to see just how good it really is. Great List! Fun List! Thanks for the vid!

Wow! Awesome list! I know this was made before the release of the DC Movie Gallery 1989 Batman Statue, but what are your thoughts on that statue? I don't subscribe to any channels or pages that show what's up and coming so I wasn't aware of this statues release. I was shocked and delighted when I went to my LCS and saw it. I didn't get it that day which was the day of it's release, but I did go back and was able to purchase one weeks later. The shop owner was surprised at it's popularity, the way it looked, and more so it's price point. For f50 I think its a bargain deal for a great looking statue. I recommend it for anyone that is on a budget but still wants to collect statues.

Love Prime 1, Dark Knight Returns, this piece spoke to me in a way, when I get Old I am Not going Down Easy, I am going to fight until my last Breath, that's why I bought it. I learned about the Frank Miller book it's connected later.....

Perhaps it's time for an update to this vid, since it's nearly two years old? My own favourite is still the one that I own, which is Batman Noel, but my number two pick would be the Batman Zero Year on the bike, number three the Hush Batcave, number four Batman Damned, and number five probably the forthcoming Batman Bloodstorm, not the extremely muscular blue one with the long ears but the skinny monstrous black one with the long wing-like cape from Queen Studio. I'm not into movie statues so they are not on my list although of course they can be very beautiful too, with the bright eyes and the realistic feel to them. It would be interesting to hear your own list, perhaps you've done one already and I just haven't found it yet.
I know this video was made a little while ago but the grail of Batman statues is the XM Batman White Knight Batcycle.

For me the best Batman statues are the new prime1 hush not the first one but the new one coming out ,looks the best. And the new modern sideshow Batman PF EX is the best.

It's interesting that a statue that has not been made yet got number 1. It seriously has the potential to be number 1. Today its the Prime 1 Master Race that's the best.

Ok.. My Top:
1. Iron Studios Batman @ (as I ve said in an earlier comment.. the Ultimate Batman for me. Love and like the statue and base too)
2. Prime 1 Studio Arkham Origins XE suit Batman (from AO CoId CoId Heart story DLC) - Yes.. this costume is in my top 3 favorite Batman costumes ever. He looks buffed and quite imposing with a menancing face.. love me some imposing and mean Iooking Batman with that mask on his mouth too (worthy statue to pose it against a big Bane statue too.. not just against Mr Freeze)
3. The next to be released.. Batman Beyond PF by Sideshow Collectibles but also with the exclusive portrait (cuz I tend to like that a bit more). Terry McGinnis is my 2nd favorite version for Batman ever and I still dream of the day when they will stop pIaying safe with Bruce Wayne and bring us Terry too but also with an oIder Bruce to advice him. (wish that oIder Bruce Wayne be Micheal Keaton). Batman Beyond for me its like the Iron Man of DC cuz that suit is also hi-tech. (not as hi-tech as some of IM's suits.. but still pretty good)
4. Prime 1 Studio ‘s JL Batman Statue. I also really like the pose / base on this statue (and I do Iike BatfIeck as Batman.. how he looks in some certain scenes in the movies)
5. P1 Noel Batman.. Love the face sculpt and base too.
HonorabIe mention (that can also be in top 5): XM Studios that depicts the Dark Knight as a samurai. The Batman Shogun statue. Samurai Batman riding a horse (as a guy who aIso likes Zorro.. the latin version of Batman.. I like Batman on a horse too + in a samurai version ? Bada$$ statue).

Suicide squad Batman, should have received an Honorable Mention ; it's has amazing switch outs and most powerful magnets ,on the switch outs, out of any of my entire Prime 1 collection combined, also texture of the sculpture suit is far superior to the J.L. version, but the base is lacking in detail...

Except the no1(its obvio the best 😂),Batman who laughs and arkham one are my favs. Hush one also good because of the body detailing. And my 5th would be the batman bust in your background.

I'm really torn between picking up Batman Hush Batcave, or waiting for "What's Next" in Prime 1's lineup for Batman DC statues. Then again, I'm not entirely sold on Batman Batcave. I really want a Batman Hush Catwoman statue. Do you find it a little strange that Gotham by Gaslight Batman is 1/5 scale? Hmm. Maybe Prime 1 will release some 1/4 DC statues in the near future, with Batman New 52 being 1/4 scale.

1 - OG Hush. And it's not particularly close for me. I just love that statue, I don't understand the hate for the pose as that's one of the best parts, imo.

I don't think I've ever known of a huge Batman fan who straight up doesn't like The Dark Knight Returns. I've known those who don't necessarily love it as much as most Batman fans do. It's a totally fair opinion, It's just uncommon, particularly for Batman fans. I can't wrap my mind around the thought of not liking it. lol It's right up there in first, second, or third place as my favorite all-time comics. That's one of the things that makes following this stuff interesting. We'd be bored if we all completely agreed.
I wish I liked the art more. I've just never loved older Batman stories.
@@BatmanStatueCollector To be fair, I'm biased to an extent. When it came out my little group of friends at school were comic fans and we loved it. We really thought we were different because we were into different, cool, more adult comics DKR, Watchmen, and our favorite, the little-known X-Men with that gritty Wolverine character. Little did we know that kids all across the country were digging the same comics and X-Men would join the most popular titles and stay there from then on. 😆
