the orange wire (pos 12v) should go under your dash fuse box and look with a cheap 12v light tester a port that's not being used but that has 12v when you turn the key to on position without starting it. That's your 12v ignition source. Use a female end of a butt connector and put it in open slot in a open port where the fuse box is under the dash panel in your ek civic. I can send you a picture if interested.
