Aside from what I mentioned in the video, other moves such as up tilt and down tilt can be used in neutral, but are very situational. Up tilt is a solid anti air, but is higher risk while dash attack does its job but better. Dtilt is good if you’re trying to catch a landing or low profile a move like some projectiles. I may have corrected this in the video, but every character has a 3 frame jump squat. Is their jump speed, jump height, and fall speed that differ.
I picked back up my Belmonts because of you. Im trash but getting better all the time. I also keep missing your twitch stream. Ggwp versus MKLeo. Respect.
I learnt a lot regarding what to not do while playing Belmont in Neutral (aerials toward opponent, safe distance, using Dash attack rather than Utilt), so thank you for that great video. One thing I still need to learn is how to optimize recovery as it's something very hard with Belmont. Cheers!
Just found your channel, love Simon so naturally your guide was amazing. I wish I could see you use Simon though, love that red fire hahah. Richter is definitely still cool too. And what are the chances for you to make another guide?
As far as zoner players go, you're one of the few who I don't find boring to watch. You're actually hella entertaining with your complex setups. I'm convinced that you need a bachelors degree in trigonometry to get the crazy knocback angle conversions that you do with belmont projectiles lmao
Mad respect, this is helpful stuff. Been trying to make Simon a real secondary for me lately since all I ever play are speedy close up types and its a big challenge for someone with my style to pickup a slower more setup based character
Thank you very much ! Your guide has changed my vision to play and I feel more comfortable playing Belmont again. By far the best video on your channel! ^^
I just bought the game, played them all, I enjoyed the video. I just wish you categorized and didn't' repeat yourself or stay on 1 subject for a long time. Thanks for the good Belmont tips. I'm a huge old school castlevania/megaman fan. My cousin say's the belmonts suck, but I"m gonna teach him otherwise :P
My friend used mario and exposed me with their close combat. I'm having problems f-tilting but I really don't wanna use the c stick. I'm was trying to hit him with the downangled f-tilt but I kept missing ugh I really want the castlevania feel so Ig I just retreat dash attack or holy water.thanks I still need to aim and space better
I will say, I was very against C stick until Ultimate. I loved Belmont play, but realized quickly that you HAVE to have reliable F-tilts. Try tilt stick, man. One other advantage to it is that it really makes you only put out a Smash attack if you really mean for it because it's slightly harder to hit to controls vs. one. It made me focus way more on other setups then just looking for Smash attacks. Really, give it an honest try
@@mooseknuckle4321 ngl it kinda makes the setups a lot easier but I wanna practice analog control it may come in handy for another game also I use low/normal sensitivity btw
cant remember which vid where you explained how some characters move up/down when they get hit by holy water on ledge, is there a list for each character? hope to see you in more online tourneys
The one thing I learned valuable from T3: having you and your opponent at ftilt space will gain you advantage. That is very true especially how you can condition them and get kill setups ready
@t3 dom plug your twitch and social media in the caption and pinned comment ...need to get more of us belmonts out here P.s where do i send clips, got some good ones for you.
Dude thank you so much for crunching out these Belmont guides because no one else will.
Honestly
The hero we need, but don't deserve
Thank you so much! You inspired me to use this character. People are hating on me for using him but that won’t stop me.
you're really a pioneer for the belmont meta. last of a dying breed.
I used to go from nothing to killing it in friendlies because of you. Thanks for the amazing guides and pushing the meta of the Belmonts
I just found this channel

Do you have a list of characters that down angled f smash doesn't affect while ledge hanging?

Thoughts on dtilt 1 for knockdowns at high percent?

I came here to learn some Simon and found the best summary of neutral I've ever seen. Nice!

Incredible video man! Thanks for introducing me to this character

Could you possibly do some first to ten versus our bad matchups?
This is a huge help
@8:56 "i can't control both controllers at the same time"
thanks for trying though lol
I will have to until I can do it with the button easily, thanks for the advice. I'll have to improve my aim

Any Belmont combo guides?
I love you Dominic ❤️
Get that haircut
B mashers? Not me
I use my Whip
Mario does have combos out of a stray back air in this game, unfortunately :/
Disclaimer I'm not a pro, I just eat many of those bairs online lol

This video was so helpful and well done. I'd love to see a explanation on your different cross setups
