      Ironically, now it’s going to cost more. so many students will end up back in the public schools, which the government will have to pay for, and they will fail to collect any revenue from the students. A net loss for the government, but come on now… we know this has nothing to do with money…

      @EP3mentalist Месяц назад +6

      No it's not, rich people will continue to pay. The money the government makes from the vat is going to be relatively negligible. What they want is for people who currently can just about afford a private education to no longer be able to do so. They want the population all in state schools and only the elite have private education. Labour want the population totally dependent on the government

      It's pretty simple. Id be interested to look at this.........st. Joseph's(?) books. I mean every private school so far, that has closed, "as a result of now having to pay tax," actually turned out to have a minimum of 3 years where their spending was higher then their revenue.......

    It’s Labour. Their primary objective is always that they need more money.
    Secondary objective is the story they concoct for their supporters to justify why robbing people is a morally superior thing to do.

    • @tajj7
      @tajj7 Месяц назад +1

      How is it cruel making 7% of students getting privileged education, to pay tax, when that privilege is too expensive for 93% of parents? Private education should be abolished, tax the rich more to improve public education and make achievement based on merit, not how rich your parents are and nepotism. Nepotism and private education gave us the likes of Boris Johnson and David Cameron, who ruined the country and were not qualified nor had earned such lofty positions but where there through privilege based on the access private education gave them.
