Oldest And Strange Baoli Well In Forest Of Choa Saidan Shah District Chakwal Punjab

In this video we will show you an ancient and strange well which is situated in the valley of mountains in the thick forest. Now this well has been deserted completely. 2 rooms and 1 basement are here inside the well which has been useless now because large numbers of bats and snakes live here. The depth of this well is approximately 300 feet. This well was constructed by Hindus in 1890. Proper stairs are present to go inside the well but the way to go inside this well is very narrow and dark. There is no arrangement of light here. The snakes find in large number due to mountain and forest area. This well is situated outside the forest in village Wahula of Tehsil Choa Saidan Shah in District Chakwal Punjab Province of Pakistan. Now this well is in the ownership of a landlord family. No one come here and keep residence here due to wild animals specially snakes. The local stones after trim and cement were used for the construction of this well. A large number of Hindus was settled in District Chakwal before the establishment of Pakistan therefore many temples, forts and old Havelies find in the area of Chakwal. The wells are also present in large number in this area but this well is the best example itself. You will not see this kind of strange well somewhere. To visit this well you will take permission from the owner because they have covered this land with thorn fency due to thick forest. It is impossible to enter this place. The wild gum Arabic trees and deep ditches are present around this well and the attack of wild animals is also a fear. Now this well is presenting a view of mysterious and dangerous. No one go inside the rooms and basement of this well. The stairs were constructed to go inside this well in the ancient time. You can say it stepwell also. In local language it is called baoli but its construction does not look like the baoli. Its construction is present in splendid condition and the owner of this land has also renovated it. A tube well is also installed inside this well through pipe line. A small Mosque has also been constructed on this well. The animals went inside this well through stairs and drank water in old time. Now the way of stairs has been closed under the mud. The water had come out through oxen from this well but now this well is presenting a view of dangerous ruins. we went inside the rooms and basement this well and made complete video for you.
