You know what? I wanted the same thing with you! When I was watching the last scenes of Darklina I was thinking; Alina, abandon Mal, after all he is dead. Go with Aleksander after all you love him and he trully loves you and needs you by his side, you know this better than me. Any way... In the first season of Shadow and Bone i hated Aleksander after ep.5 for what he has done to Alina. But, in the second season I loved him and I also loved the way Aleksander loved her. In the end, i nearly cry in his death cause I understood how much he loved her, because his last words were;"My little Saint"
Wow love this I cannot wait for the second season as in the second book Alina and the darling communicate through visions if you will and the sexual tension in the books is unreal and I know these two can pull it off on screen as they did in season 1 can't wait!!

I totally agree! They should never ever end up together but there's something interesting about them being opposites and that there is something that pulls them together because they are alike in certain ways. Thank you!
