I was in random legendary Misson with someone has 50 shd level and my first thought I'm going to leave but decide to stay. Turns out that guy keep us alive until the end of the mission with his simple heal hardwired build. So I learned my lesson not to judge people too quick by their shd lvl. He knows he is not strong that's why he going for support and doing good at his role.
True statement you posted. I normally adjust my build according to what everyone else is running for legendary. I often use my "FORTIFIED " build which is 3 skill tier, on technician. 1.9 armor, 353k health, 103k AR damage, 88k damage from Bullet King with the Memento backpack. I run striker drone & gun turret. I often find myself with almost as many revivals than those running heal builds because I can take so much damage.
Was this on playstation? Could have been me lol. New player and enjoying the game a great deal. I have been making multiple builds, but tend to go in as support on the challenging and legendary content for now.
Did a legendary and this kid left right before the boss. Guess bc I wasnt in cover the whole time. told me to “fkn chill out” because “it’s legendary not easy” while I was stoned with music on, and not even listening to him talk. Literally was laying down chilling just doing the mission. We were fighting NPCs and all 3 of my teammates died, and I picked them up over half way into the mission. which if I’d died we would’ve had to start over completely. But thanks to me we got to the boss. 2 left because I apparently, didn’t even know what I was doing with this game. Yet I went on to beat it with the only teammate that didn’t leave, and a random from matchmaking. Some people are cry babies in this game man, swear. Don’t listen to random people in this game. even if they got thousands of levels, doesn’t make them good or anything. Just no lifes🤟
Im at 300 and my aim is to max weapon damage, crit chance and crit damage. I play a few hours every weekend, I felt if went crazy and got to 1000 then what else is there to aim for in the game so im steadily making my way.

I feel it's important to focus on it. I just made it to 600 last night, 65 on the season pass. Since the grind is so long, I found it useful to focus on the ones that complement your playstyle. For instance, I have skill damage and haste maxed, now I'm working duration. Health and armor maxed, working on explosive resistance. Maxed ammo and stability, working on accuracy. Maxed weapon damage and crit damage, working crit chance. All my builds have at least 2-6 skill tiers, 915k armor to 1.9 million, 335k to 440 health.

Point to note. Glass Cannon numbers aren’t shown on build/loadout stats.
And at the time of recording this video your SHD was 1192 not 0.

I started all of my alts at Warlords of New York just for times sake (since you aren't contributing to your SHD before you finish it) but after I hit 1000 and get some of my builds maxed out, I'll prob take a breath, delete one of my characters and go through from the beginning to enjoy the original grind again
Off topic, but does anybody know if the global difficulty setting affects crafting? I.E. if you are at a higher global difficulty, does the crafting station craft higher stat gear?
No, the crafting table is entirely random on rolls, world tier 5 level 40 they can roll as low as a 10% value, maxed value, or a mix of both. The only things you should craft are improvised gear, weapon attachments, gear set pieces, or a specific weapon until the rolls are decent, but honestly you are better doing targeted loot on whatever it is you want at challenging difficulty (rolls are the same as heroic and legendary but farming is faster)
@@garrettdaily8601 thats good to know on the rolls because I do enjoy farming on challenging more, starts to get real bullet-spongy above that.
1 to 1000 took me maybe 9 months this was pain to grind same old and booring content.
And right now i have +1600 SHD After 1000 is usless to grind more.

How do you get your damage numbers to be displayed like that
I’m at around SHD 950 with almost all maxed mods and my AR damage is still under 200,000. Your hitting over 500,000 at 0 had lvl. I put same build on so I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong?

how can u reset the SHD points?
I was getting agitated trying to figure that out too after some douche that I ran with one nite in a DC heroic campaign. He “explained” how it worked… supposedly. I figured when I’d reach maximum in all slots, I could re-spec, forward and backwards in each category. I asked and He said yes, but I think he was to lit, and wasn’t paying any attention with his fkn kid screaming in the background. You can’t respec/reset. You can create a new character, start off in the DLC, get the watch, you get a shit ton of SHD points and an empty watch to fully spec, and when u get to dc you can share your resources and blueprints from your other characters. All your previous progress from what you’ve opened in is there. Basically, just start over is all you can do for now, maybe they’ll change it down the road. I just switch my fav set between 2 of my four characters now. They should fix that, all these gear sets in themselves have different specs for not just pvp/DZ/raids/etc, so I it makes more sense.
