Hi everyone :-)
You can find items I make, create and draw for sale in my Etsy and Ebay shops! Please click the link above! I also take on commissions so don't hesitate to ask! :-)
Please follow DRRCreations on Instagram and Facebook! :-)
In this video I show you how and advise you on how I drew and coloured in a picture of Mandalorian and Grogu flying over the surface of Tatooine with the famous double suns in the sky! I love making the character or subject of the drawing look like they are coming out of the page by using a comic style frame to enclose the background! The reference picture I used had Grogu looking very plain faced but I changed his face to be smiling as they fly fast through the sky! 😀
The video shows everything from drawing the shape, to going over the outline in pen, to colouring in the drawing and background then finally adding high lights!
For this drawing I used a Pentel Sharplet-2 0.5 mechanical pencil. Derwent coloursoft and Faber Castell polychromos pencils, Uni pin fine line black 0.03 pen, Uni Posca white paint pen and Daler and Rowney Smooth-Heavyweight 220g/m2 paper.
Thank you so much for watching! :-)
Hope you enjoy my video! :-)

Why is your work a lot better drawing on a grid as a-posed to freehand? Is it just using a photo? Whats the trick, with this grid technique?
Hi, I have just always struggled to get sizing and ratios of body to head etc correct, so with the grid it helps me get these much closer. I draw a grid over the photo I would like to copy and then draw a grid on the drawing paper, then copy what's in each grid box on the photo to the same grid box on the drawing. I can draw free hand but it would take me a lot longer to get it correct and I'd go through a thousand erasers! 😂👌😀
@@DRRCreations Great idea! I can see It certainly works for you. Proportion is so hard to master especially if you want a more realistic outcome. Your colouring is very good too.I just stumbled on your channel by chance and I think its great. Thanks for sharing.
@@Le_Petomane Thank you 😀 Hope I helped you with your drawing 👌😀
