  • Located at the group camp across the river from the camground at Stony Brook State Park. I haven't seen this restroom open until now, and boy was I in for a surprise with EIGHT completely different vintage toilets in here, 4 on each side. Here is a list:
Urinals: Two 1960's era "Standard" Bering urinals
Toilet 1: 1951 "Standard" Modernus attached to a Crane Trentonian low tank with a mismatched 1958 tank lid
Toilet 2: Modern Mansfield Summit 3
Toilet 3: 1966 Crane Neuday toilet with a mismatched 1951 "Standard" tank lid
Toilet 4: 1972 Borg Warner Chase toilet with a wooden board "tank lid"
Toilet 5: 1980 American Standard Cadet toilet with a mismatched 1951 "Standard" tank lid
Toilet 6: 1951 "Standard" Cadet toilet with a mismatched 1968 tank lid
Toilet 7: 1956 Mansfield Simplex toilet with a mismatched 1951 "Standard" tank lid
Toilet 8: Unsure, possibly a Orion Jupiter toilet? with a mismatched 1951 "Standard" tank lid

Epic! What a wide assortment of toilets and the Bering urinals were so cool!

This is EXACTLY the set up that Gene Coulon Park had in the front of the park which was later torn down, except the toilets were 1970’s AS Maderas and an AS flushometer Cadet.
That Crane Neuday flushes a lot like the Eljer Ellis I have in my upstairs bathroom.
The Borg-Warner is actually an academy not a chase.
The 1st AS Cadet needs its bowl refill tube redirected into the overflow pipe. Likely why it did not siphon out.
Last one is an Orion Titon toilet.
Great finds here - Glad it was finally open!

I meant academy, haha! I knew chase was the newer model. I bet that restroom at Watkins glen park was redone in the 70’s then I guess?

@@toiletsroc Could be. I can also only assume that Coulon was part of the State Park system at some point just because of that one particular restroom that used to be there. It was on the lake side and near the parking lot. But yes the layout was identical to this bathroom just with the flushometer toilets.

Interesting to see there are still S-traps under the urinals and sink. This bathroom really is a time capsule 😂

That's amazing! One wonders how you could ever tell what the original toilets were, lol! The Modernus is my favorite. I also love the style of the building in general. The classic brown building with Dutch hip roof, and the high vent windows. Very cool! It reminds me a lot of the restroom I filmed at Fort Wilkins State park with assorted fixtures.

I only wonder too! Funny how the Berings seem to be early replacements. I assume the Modernus is original, along with all the mismatched 1951 tank lids on the other toilets, and maybe the Cadet is too. The sink is a cast iron Standard. This is at the same state park as the restroom with the green logo Standard Modernuses on concealed valves and the Sanistands so no surprise there’s another here!

The 4th toilet is a 1972 Borg Warner Marlin. It is a Borg Warner Academy with a Marlin tank. Awesome restrooms and the fixtures with salvaged toilets. If a toilet breaks, they replace it with a salved toilet. A fairgrounds 30 minutes from me has a separate Men's and Women's restroom buildings and all the stalls has salvaged tank toilets ranging from 1970s Mansfield, American Standard toilets and urinals.

Awesome finds, excluding the Newer Assto and the Orion. The Orion Jupiter is interesting, though not great.

Now this is a classic restroom!! I love the fixtures. I see restrooms like these but they always put gerber avalanches, vipers, maxwells, nothing original usually.

The third toilet is an Eljer Ellis with a mismatched tank I believe, but everything here (excluding the new Mansfield) is great to AMAZING, sad the Cadet is partially clogged though
