Space Invaders honestly deserved legendary, although people say the gameplay isn’t really good, it’s fun to learn and that’s what a demon is about, it’s supposed to be really difficult. But let’s be real the boss looks and feels EPIC when you get to it, the level looked so cool I pushed myself to beat it as a new hardest
Yeah, Ocellios looked so good of a level, it pushed me to my limits to beat it as my first hard demon. Might do the same for space invaders.
Space invaders is my hardest too + my first hard demon
it's lacking easings on the camera movements so that doesn't help.
personally i think that it just teaches too much to fast and then doesn't do anything with a lot of the things it established, like it peaks at the bit after the foreground and background swithing section where it it literally a new mechanic a second, and sometimes more than one a second at parts i think asking players to learn 15 new mechanics in 8 seconds is a bit of a tall order

space invaders is one of the levels that show the 2.2 features at their peak and what can truly be done. Imo it should be rated legendary
I think it's a phenomenal level too but it would be kinda... unfair and strange to have a non-epic rated level in this series

then what should also be promoted to a legendary and how should be promoted to epic since deco only matters
