I’m glad I found your video! I am starting to convert a school bus in Canada and the goal is to go to Japan with it in 2022.

I am not sure, I know people rent campers that have toliets but they usually ask the customers to not use them. There are plenty of onsen bathhouses for showering however there isnt access to drain blacktanks like you would have in new zealand/ the states. (there are bags that can be put into toliets with powder chemicals so that the waste can be thrown into trash cans)

Thank you & very helpful. I especially like the link to places to camp with facilities.
A question please - Can I rent a van and return the van at a different location? For example Osaka to Kumamoto.

Hi, my name is Jarrod too lol
A mate and I are travelling from Ireland to Japan and renting a camper for 2 weeks.
Just clicked on your site to rent a camper but you are stopping rentals.
We are flying into Osaka. Are there any rental companies you would recommend, we are looking at Van life rent a car, basically as they are very close to the airport.
    Thanks

Some of the links are no longer working.
Do you Know the maximum size for a vehicle to be able to park on a regular parking spot? Can i do it legally with a 6.9m Mercedes Sprinter conversion?
    Thank you.

Hi¡ Im between Australia or japan for 6 months studies lenguage, mostly for the experience, but my question is... ¿ do you think is really possible to live in a van with much problem¡? Not concern about shower places etc... my concern is if i would be able to even buy a car or small van to legally drive it , and in tokio or Osaka would be easy to park for free at diferent spots at least nightime? Daytime would be able? Or need to move far from downtown?

Hmmm, van life looks great and people do live that way in Japan for sure but I would recommend renting a van for a week or two first to make sure that its a way you would be interested to live long term.
