Depending on the yards of fabric for instance 3 yards uses 3:3:3
3 spoons of dye, caustic soda and hydrosulphite for better effect

For my batik I used mercerised cotton, but you can use silk too, but mostly the cheapest options are silk and cotton

Paraffin wax, you put the wax block in a utensil and use heat to melt it.
Heat makes it’s liquid which is now used to make the prints
