I read the title of this video and had to double take because I grew up on these old Rankin/Bass Stop motion animations. And after listening to the song all I could respond with was "Yeah...yeeaaahh" lol.
Because (as far as I am aware) this song never had any type of malicious intent. The whole movie was simply a way to introduce children to the concept of Santa who is supposed to be the Nicest, Happiest, most Charitable person in the world. BUT Today's society and our exposure to all things internet makes us look at this and go "We know you mean well but...stop it" lol.
