LA Carbon Fibre TV - Episode 7, Season 1
Part 2 of 2
Wow,spectacular collection of cars.Love the classic cars.
Loved Joes comments about electric cars .
Different cars for different uses. Most folks are not car people, they just want a box that will take them from home to somewhere else. The journey is irrelevant. Right now they are driving diesel Golfs, soon they will be in electric cars. Electric cars are here to stay, quiet convenience.
Electric cars have a sustainability issue regarding the batteries. A fifty year old pure electric will be useless whereas a fifty year old fossil fuel will fire up. Given the “improvements” in computer leads I doubt an old electric car will still charge once it’s leads and charger fail. The solution is simple. Cease building out of town commercial and retail. Then invest in great cheap public transport where four people travel cheaper than using a car. Getting miles down is the target rather than putting more cars on the road in another guise.
@@brynleytalbot778 And you know this, how? Do you own an EV? Have you driven one/lived with one for a while? I don't merely mean being a passenger or test driving one around the block. I mean living with one. As for your comment about 50yrs and EVs' likely won't last that long: we don't know that yet, but many Tesla owners are getting serious miles on their vehicles without much problem. And remember that Ferrari's are FREAK'N expensive. Don't think for a minute that the rebuilds and even the straightforward services aren't costing a small fortune in this shop...................... So can a classic Ferrari last 50+ yrs???? Certainly if someone's prepared to drop $10K/yr on services and then another $50K - $150K every 20-30yrs for a complete rebuild.
He's bang on about e cars. No heart no passion in them. It's sad. All his classics have a beating pulse.
0:33 That blue F40 is insane. Best color I've seen for them.
Daytona blue.
thanks for sharing this video , insane!
What a great guy and true petrol head!
Love ya Joe!
I agree with your opinion of electric cars.
How has this not got more views...
This deserves so many more views!? Really interesting videos! 🤘👌
Just found these vids on Joe. Absolutely brilliant.
Thank you 🙏🏽
Joe Macari what a guy I saw him racing the 250 SWB at goodwood. Look Joe I hate electric cars too and am much younger. They are terrible at trying to reinvent the wheel.
1:39 Notice how he grabs the zips on his jacket before he gets closer to the car to avoid scratches!
Details.
Wow that’s a great spot. Didn’t even notice that
Manoeuvring all those tightly packed cars to fetch the one you want must be quite a task.
(note to self - find very large premises before purchasing dream garage material)
What a great insight. Joe made it special. Huge respect to Joe. I will go to Macari when I wan to buy the best and get it serviced by a passionate team.
How have I just discovered this!! He points out the TRS like it's a Ford Fiesta
😂
Your so right Mr Macari on shitty electric cars 😂
Well said Joe screw electric cars
