I actually hate hearing or reading “beauty youtube is dead” because i’m here everyday faithfully, just waiting for my favorite creators to post and they still do . so my beauty youtube is still alive and well .
**Big compliment incoming**: almost all people I watch on RUclips in the beauty space, I watch for recommendations and tips that are affordable since I only buy affordable products. But somehow I watch every single one of your videos even though most products you recommend are way above my price point. Point is, you have a great personality and great videos even if I never purchase anything you recommend 😂
Spritz edit is getting discontinued last I heard. It’s my favorite and I got a backup. Don’t get as much use from the coral pop shades but every other color is perfect!
Had to pause and comment about The Untethered Soul. That book literally (like in the actual literal sense) saved my life. Someone gave it to me when I was in the hospital after a suicide attempt and it opened my eyes and changed my life. I highly recommend for anyone dealing with grief, depression, anxiety, or anything that makes you feel hopeless.
Aside from the fact that the content is awesome, I appreciate the length of these videos so damn much. I use them as a wind down in the evening and it’s so nice to be able to just settle into a video that’s not 10 minutes and then click onto the next! I love the chatty videos, they’re therapy!
I am only new to the beauty community by a few years, so switching to other social media channels (or whatever you call them) like Tic Tok doesn't appeal to my sensibilities. I'm glad that you and others beauty influencers are not threatened by the fleeting comings and goings of the other apps. I really enjoy this format on You Tube and I really enjoy your videos, Kackie.
I don't understand why people claim that beauty RUclips is full of drama. I don't watch any drama content. I like my little RUclips beauty world with long videos showing products that I might actually buy.
I glaze past foundations...all of them. I have just gotten to the point where I hate feeling the product on my face. I have prayed for a product like the enhancer. It's sheer and let's my natural contour come through and just makes my skin look so healthy! I like the auric glow lust for the same reason.
Omg YES “RUclips becoming less optimized” could be seen as SUCH a GOOD thing for the community when you think about it as a group of likeminded people coming together instead of thinking about the “loss” of these uninterested parties.
I enjoy RUclips creators that I like. I don't search for new ones typically, but I'm definitely not ditching it for a different platform. I literally hate TikTok, don't have one, don't have the app, and Insta is still ehhhhhhh to me. I think you nailed the point. Side note, I am about to re-up on my VBBeauty mascara, thought I'd grab a gloss, and there's new shades and ohhhhh now I can't choose.
I'm a fair olive skin tone, and the bronzers that are usually the right undertone for me are usually marketed for medium or even dark skin tones. I, incidentally, buy from a lot of black beauty brands because I have found that they are the ones employing the genius nuance to work on a complexion that is neither cool, nor warm, nor neutral. This is a long-winded way of me saying that I usually have to buy "dark" bronzers and go in with a light hand to get them to work. There is NO WAY I could wear the skin enhancer all over my face because it would be too high contrast on my fair skin, and the 'fair' ones would come off as too pink or gray. I've been so disappointed in these brands at Sephora producing strictly "in-the-box" colors because, I have found that, even on my end of the fair-dark spectrum, people are more complex than that.
I was literally coming here to say exactly this. I’m fair olive and I have to go with a way darker bronzer to find the correct tone and just do a very light hand. I usually don’t even bother. What bronzers and shades do you like? My current favorite is Kosas in the medium shade, but it doesn’t last on me.
@@LisaF_ Right now I have two favorites: The tower 28 in West coast, and the danessa myricks cream power bronzer in light. (Full disclosure: I worship danessa myricks products.) I have found that if people generally complain about a bronzer being too yellow, then that's my shade. Neither one has great longevity, though. I also really loved the luminous bronzer in medium from essence. That one leans slightly orange on me, but in the summer I can get away with it. It's also really scented-- like a heavy coconut scent-- if you're sensitive to that.
I’m not sure, I don’t have greenish hues on my face, just my arms , I do find most others pull very yellow or orange on me if I don’t get the deeper shades and go very lightly. Only one that hasn’t worked out ( and think that’s amazing for deep skin tones) is the colourpop cream bronzer
Some great answers to questions in this video. I think there is always going to be an audience for RUclips long format -where there is integrity and intelligence , there is always going to be interest. Also consider it to be more beneficial for our brains to watch a 35 minute video than 200 Tik Toks. I love your descriptions and use of language. Thank you Kackie.
I appreciated your answer to the “death of beauty RUclips” so much. I had coincidentally (and uncharacteristically, for me) just been looking at TikTok and it left me feeling nothing but confused and empty. Let’s here it for all you badasses (Amanda, you, Kait et al) giving us actual knowledge, advice, storytelling in a way that brings us together rather than feeling that emptiness. And that our brains are not supposed to be taking in this much suckiness-100% agree. You look stunning! Such a great summer eye lewk. 🧡🧡🧡
Bronzer is one makeup item that I am not tempted by. I do have one cream (CT) and one powder (Gucci) bronzer in case I want to create a look...but honestly, I just want to embrace the uniqueness of being really fair complected!
I'm pale & at around age 30 I just accepted it & stopped laying out to tan.( I am 62 )My legs paid the price & now are spotty as well as white which I always got $%&t for anytime I wore shorts on a hot day. I avoid the sun & always did since I burned easily. And guess what, most people think I'm much younger than I am. I don't self tan, it's messy, inconvenient & it smells bad. And it never really looks natural I don't think. And it's expensive to keep up. All the Bronze Goddess, glowy shimmer oils, skin tints, etc are not useful products for me. Same with most bronzers( & highlighters for that matter, usually too gold or too icy) But for people who do tan or self tan, I could see that Mario skin enhancer being a nice all over face product since it's a sheer cream/gel product. It could potentially save you from needing two foundation shades & double as your bronzer. Most complexion products are made for people who fall in the Light to Med & Med to Tan neutral -warm range. Anyone truly Fair, Cool, Deep or Olive has a harder time finding shades outside the "universal" range offered by most cosmetics companies.
I’m light neutral olive and to date I have never found a version of these products that really works for me well. They all tend to have one of three bases: yellow, red, or (and in my experience this is most of them) orange, and I always end up looking like some flavor of corpse. So at this point I have mostly just learned to embrace my relative pastiness and relying on touches of bronzer (which is also a bit of a toss-up) when I want more color.
The “all-over tan” products absolutely do not work for me because they all somehow look orange or red on me. I also can’t understand the use case because it’s like having a fake tan on just your face and the rest of the body/neck doesn’t match so it always looks odd to me.
What you said about the beauty community and social media resonates with me so much. I don't like social media which feel like time and attention vampires, I much prefer watching one in depth video on youtube and then go about my day.
I hope you get better very soon! I’m not sure how I found you, but I’m so happy I did. Watching your videos has given me comfort in a tough time. I’m older than you and have a different skin tone and type but I still end up getting so much of what you love and I end up loving it too! You are wise beyond your years and though I have usually had challenging relationships with Aries both male and female I find you so charming and endearing. You said something once about Scorpios (me) and Aries both being selfish and it’s so true and probably why it’s a difficult duo. I do have an Aries daughter who has also opened my eyes. (I’m Scorpio sun, Pisces rising, and Sag moon). My mom reads natal charts so I’ve been into this since I was young. Ok I think I’ll end my novel now.
🥹🥹🥹 I love this. I admit Scorpios have also been challenging for me in life, but I think you're right. It's because we are both single-minded types, kind of born leaders. I respect the scorpios in my life so much.
I have a very pink tone to my skin & most bronzing products just make my face look dirty. I have purchased a foundation in the right undertone a few shades darker, but that also doesn't quite look right. The only one that looks good is the Fenty Body Sauce, but I can't handle the scent. Ugh!! I did see that Haus Labs has a pink/cool toneed bronzer. I might try that.
Thanks for the description of the scent of the new Kjaer Weis skin tint. I cannot handle products with a strong fragrance, especially an unpleasant one. The Chanel fragrance is too overwhelming to me. I tried their skin tint years ago and the scent just lingered. It gave me a migraine.
Thank you so much for putting into words EXACTLY how I feel about the beauty community. It’s not a trend for us, and that’s what makes it so sincere and safe for the people who remain 🤍🤍🤍
Would love to hear your level of detailed comparison between the Mario enhancer and the fenty cream bronzer. Maybe in a This or that video? They just both seem sheer, glowy/balmy, and layerable?
Hi! I have both, and can answer your question from my point of view! 😊 The Fenty cream bronzer is more pigmented and thicker, but very blendable, you can get sheer coverage. The Mario skin enhancer is much more sheer and balmy, less pigmented, and warmer in tone than the Fenty (I have the Amber color). I love both, but for real contour, I use the Fenty. The skin enhancer gives a natural, bronzed contour effect, and definitely adds a glow to the face. The Mario skin perfector layers beautifully over both.
Years ago I used Maskara’s HAC (highlighting and contour) make up. It’s kind of like the one layer technique that’s been popular lately. Honestly my base never looked better even though it looked crazy before you blend. The products were just so so, but it opened up the idea of using bronzer as coverage. I’ve stumbled on milani cream foundation and I’ve tried 2 of the darker shades and they work amazing for this. The undertones sheer out a bit rosy and look just like my skin but not washed out - which I think I would otherwise apply ten layers of blush/bronzer to try to achieve. I use a bit of concealer where I need it and of course several layers of blush still because we love blush. All this over tinted spf.
I'm a bit paler than you, and a lot pinker (Nars Oslo) and as appealing as the all-over bronze products are, they're completely impractical for me :/ they would just make me look weirdly dark/brown in comparison to my super pale neck. I use bronzer, but it has to be very light and very peachy (the SNY Light is fantastic) and I apply it super sparingly.
I’m very fair and I hate bronzing products like that. I have the supergoop glow screen which has a tint and it just makes my face look a different color than my body. I don’t see the need to alter skin tone in order to fit beauty ideals. It’s another way for people, mostly women, to feel bad about the natural state of their bodies. It feels like just another way of telling us we’re not enough how we are. I just want everyone to feel comfortable and beautiful how they are. None of this you’re too dark or you’re too light, but more you’re just right.
Hi Kackie! I tried my first Makeup by Mario product yesterday It's the Makeup by Mario Skin Perfector. It's an ombre type bronzer product that apparently Mario swirls and uses to set the cream Enhancer you used. I just got the Perfector not both. But, i just wanted to let you know that it is the most beautiful bronzer i have ever used. You can swirl is altogether, but i've been going into the deepest part of the ombre and using that as contour, then going into the glowy(not glittery just radiant) golden part of the ombre and putting it just slight above/on top of the contour. And it makes your skin look soooooooo beautiful. I've never used a more beautiful bronzer. I have it in light medium. Mario said in a video if you have the cream you are the same shade in the Perfector. And id love to know your thoughts on it and see how you enjoy it.
Great video - thx!! You make 2 excellent points on the Kjaer Weis tint!!! I can't believe fragrance was added because her other foundation formulas do not add, just have scent from the oils added. This is a bummer. Plus the packaging issue is huge. She used to be the queen of refillable long before so many brands...wth?
oh, i loved how you framed your thoughts around different platforms and target audience. I enjoy this platform so much and completely agree that the rest of social media has such a different feel and my mental health TANKS if I'm on instagram, tiktok, and facebook more than a few minutes a day.
I’m so enjoying all of your content. Personally, I have no desire to be tan. I have bigger fish to fry. Plus, I happen to have fair, pale skin and actually don’t mind the way it looks. Do I use bronzer occasionally to add dimension to my face? Absolutely!! But that’s where it ends. I think a range of skin tones is beautiful & makes us all more unique ☺️♥️
I think the more tan products are in response to people using SPF more consistently on their face (👏🏻) making their face skin more pale than their body skin. Products like the Makeup by Mario help fill in the shade gap.
I'm very fair and cool (maybe cool-neutral? it's so darned hard to tell with the red hair and orangey freckles), and the only bronzer I've found to date that works at all is the Gucci. I can take a fair amount of color for someone whose base skin tone is as light as mine, but the tones, man, no one has good tones for me!
the light/med in the Mario Enhancer is great for pale people as a cream bronzer. It’s a bit more neutral too. I have both Light and Light/Medium but reach exclusively for the Light/Medium at this point
I get what you’re saying about tik tok for sure but , like when I look at my tik tok vs my ig I find myself constantly trying to aspire to what people expect on ig vs my tik tok where there I just do what I want and whatever success I get just is what it is and I’m happy with it simply because I have no expectations and I’m just creatively happy there. If any of that makes sense
That strange musty fragrance is a thing in Kjaer Weis skincare as well. Overall I find their line a mixed bag. I also note that the shade range for the Beautiful Tint is attracting criticism on other platforms. I generally wear the same foundation shade as you so maybe I will try the lightest shade even though it looks a bit warm to me. Hope you feel better soon xx
Started laughing when you mentioned tweezing your widow’s peak because it brought me back to this memory: I have a somewhat pronounced, wispy widow’s peak. In college, I thought it would be smart to shave it, and it looked CRAZY when it was growing back because it was this blunt, squared off line of hair in the middle of my forehead 😂 I showed my family when I was visiting them and they absolutely roasted me for shaving it and we were all in tears laughing about how idiotic I looked lmao
I am pretty fair but I like a little bronze all over the face especially in the summertime. I always have a strong spf on my face so my body is a touch tanner or just more freckled. The drunk elephant d-bronzi mixed in with my mineral sunscreen gives just enough tint and color that I can forgo foundation but the makeup by Mario skin enhancer looked gorgeous! Now I need a this or that between the melt cream blushlights in lynx and this one.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for showing the Spritz palette in action and even more so using the bolder colors. I am realizing that my eyes, brain, and heart gravitate towards warmer palettes but that they're also way out of my comfort zone. I was "gifted" the Viseart Warm Edit palette and after finally facing my fears I created a look that I didn't hate but thought maybe the Spritz would be better. The second u put that first shade on I instantly went "nope, not for me" but I so appreciate finally feeling solid about it not being for me. 🙂 Also, I'm intrigued by the HOS lipsticks but am not too interested in the bow cases. Could u do a demo in a video of how one would use the refill without the bow case? I have read their instructions but am having a hard time picturing it.
I dabbled in self-tanner a teensy bit in my twenties. The only one that ever looked natural on my very pale neutral skin was ModelCo's Tan Airbrush in a Can. (At some point years ago they stopped selling in the US.) The ones marketed toward light skintones tended to go orange on me, so I pretty much swear those sorts of products off and would rather just use some bronzer on my face, as I've been able to find a few that don't look orange on me.
Ah, what you said about RUclips, Tiktok and not trying to optimize everything based on what other people are doing vs. what’s authentic to you - yes! I am not a creator but I work in marketing and I feel this both professionally and personally (feeling like I’m old bc I’m not on the ‘quit everything else and just TikTok’ train).
Ive actually just started using bronzer after having it in my drawer unopened for years! Im very fair and feel I look too glowy sometimes so it settles the irl flashback a bit.
Oh girl, I feel you on the tonsil thing. I had my tonsils & adenoids removed at the tender age of six because they were way too big for my mouth. I was sleeping with my mouth open to get enough oxygen in my body (yes I’m that sad child, but don’t worry I have always been stubborn so I was fine 😂). I hope you get everything cleared up and squared away soon and get back to feeling better! Btw I FINALLY after literal months of waiting for it to come back in to stock got my hands on the Makeup by Mario Bronzer Stick in Light!!!! I can’t wait!!!! Thanks for the recommendation!!!
So my hot take on these bronzy primers is that if I use these I just look orange or like I put on too much makeup or am just trying too hard. I also tan supppererrrr easy despite how diligent I am with SPF. I am light-medium with neutral-olive undertones.
I have breakouts in the bronzer area so those skin tint products don't do it for me because i am too impatient to spot conceal in fact I want to try the bareminerals in a medium shade for the summer and then see if it works in the winter as bronzer. I go for the Shelby Wilson look + coverage
I love the idea of all over tan skin enhancer but haven’t found one that doesn’t wear off splotchy. I’m fair with pink cheeks and it just seems to look like I am not good at choosing the right color foundation. I LOVE the idea and wish they’d wear better because my rosy cheeks could just be my “blush.” I may try the Mario product, but it’s pricey so I need a drugstore/lower cost dupe soon.
can you post a side-by-side of you applying blush without adding an in-between color and you applying blush with adding an in-between color to more highlight the difference?
As far as these new complexion products - apart from the initial intrigue (for me as a makeup lover) of a new concept - this isn’t useful for me. I have medium to light skin with neutral olive undertone when I am not ‘tan’ and so I just focus on bronzing up / contouring to bring some dimension back to my face which is quite round. I discovered the illamasqua color correcting bronzer through your channel and I love it. I also enjoy a powder bronzer that St Tropez did once that has three colors in it. And I also love Warmth from Bare Minerals and the Benefit hoola glow as a kind of subtle topper.
Such a beautiful sunset eye look! I love Viseart shadows. What you said about the constant barrage of depressing news being so unhealthy for us is so true. I feel like I need to be informed so that maybe I can choose where to put my energies in speaking out or getting involved, but at the same time, how do we protect our mental health whilst doing so?
It seems like the skin enhancer is doing the foundation/bronzer combo in the reverse. Cover your face in “bronzer” instead of foundation, then lighten the face with foundation in areas you wouldn’t wear bronzer?
Yeah, I'm basically HLP level pale, but just a very pink version. But I have high contrast between my features and gray/muted shades also wash me out. I have to skip over SO many base products automatically.
I’m circa NC 45 and I have never looked twice at a bronzing foundation and likely never will. I do own one powder bronzer, but I never use it. Bronzing just doesn’t interest me personally
Regarding the Makeup by Mario enhancer, I’m one of those people with a darker face than neck with redness. If I were to add this all over my face, I would then have to add heavier layers to counter the deeper color. I’d totally use this as either a bronzer or “top half of face enhancer.” 😂
Which BK brush did you use for the skin enhancer by Mario? And would that be the brush you recommended for that product? It looks great on you! I’m sold!
I’m waaaaay too pasty for any kind of tan on my face because I’d end up rocking that 90’s too dark oxidized drug store foundation look if I tried. Sunburn blush is the most summery I go.
Lol queen of viral sensation (she is talking about concealer under eyes 👀) . That made my day kackie! Because you did not put any hihi Love youtubr beauty chanel of yours, don’t let little player on other plateforms make you change your mind.
What's the difference between applying bronzer all over and just a darker foundation? I'm very pale, always the lightest shade and slightly olive. I can't imagine getting a tan just on my face with my neck and the rest of my body basically white?
I definitely could not apply bronzer all over my face. My whole body completion is ghostly, so I would like a clown. I am totally here for other people who want that look!! For me and my skin it just would look silly .
I am very pale and very neutral - leaning barely warm - no pink peach or rosy tones at all not really any yellow or green - if I had to pick a tone it would be golden but a whisper of it. The only bronzer undertones that work are made for golden tan/medium skin but the are of course way to dark - if I did find a miracle pale golden bronzer it wouldn't matter because my body wouldn't match because there are definitely not body self tanners in that shade so I just look shockingly pale year round without even red hair to blame it on or I bronze it up in the winter when I can wear a turtleneck
I think there is a way to use makeup to look a little tan but some people are taking it WAAAY top far... to the point it appears as if they are trying to look like a different ethnicity than they are... and I do have a major problem with it... you on the other hand always do it so tastefully so thank you!
I have the NYX matte setting spray and it is fragrance free. I believe their other ones are also fragrance free. I think Hourglass might be fragrance free, but I haven’t tried it. You might want to check it in store.
I am so pale (partially due to genetics and partially due to health things) that if I did an all over the face tan without tanning my body if the shade was more than a shade darker than my skin I'd look like I'd made a very bad mistake.
Yay! Traveling with babies! The worst and most regretful thing I have ever done. I've learned that NOTHING is worth traveling via airplane with babies. Unless of course, it's life or death of a beloved relative or friend... F'ing sucks so bad! Hope you are recovering peacefully Kackie!
Kackie I was wondering if you would be willing to check out this brand called Pley I love their eco packaging and their eyeshadows look delightful if you do check them out I would greatly appreciate it
Beauty RUclips didn't die....the problematic creators were voted off the island. There are plenty of wonderful beauty content creators I watch on a daily basis that, in my opinion, have created a far more calm and drama free beauty RUclips that seems to be doing great to me!
As a fair person I find that these all over “face enhancing” products don’t work well with me as the color in general doesn’t go with the rest of my body. I’m not trying to walk around with a tan face and pale body lol but I guess as a nice bronzer they will do 🤷🏼♀️idk
not a huge fan of the self tan look. I dont even own bronzer. I just find that those products tend to look very yellow on me and end up making me look jaundiced or something. I just fake freckle myself and call it a day.
I hope the prednisone resolves your issue. I don't like that ENT you went to. I'd down vote him. Just saw your Simon note on IG. I hope the poor little guy isn't too bad off and feels better soon.
Very unpopular opinion: I’m black, not into luxury makeup, have oily skin and different from you in many ways. I wish you would explain to more white people that you don’t not have to always dive into the misery that is racism, discrimination and so many even more horrible things in this world to be an ally and a generally good person. The best thing you could do in the world is to be good to your family and loved ones and protect your peace and be a beacon of light in 1 or 2 other peoples’ lives.
The all over tan products are something that absolutely will never interest me. I have very light skin and… don’t hate it, so I’m not looking to work that hard for an unnatural skin tone on myself.
I gotta say that I wholeheartedly agree with your feelings on social media. I stick with RUclips for all the same reasons as you do. I came across your channel just on accident but you just got a new sub. Love that eyeshadow palettes color story and you chose some beautiful colors to do in this look love it!

🥰🥰🥰
Excited for the video on an off day! Hope you are feeling better and tolerating the meds.
Same! I put on a touch of the elf cream bronzer and then a lot of sunburn-ish blush
Same during the fall/winter I look sickly if I don’t throw on a little bronzer but luckily during summer I get to medium/tan cool olive.
Try WA biscuit too.
So, my new cat is named Powder, and he looked at the TV every time you said his name lol
Yeeeessssss group x! So many of their videos live rent free in my brain.
Got it at chunkys for $2es!
I totally agree‼️ I can’t get into this 30 sec makeup. I like the connection I have with my peoples on RUclips.
Started laughing when you mentioned tweezing your widow’s peak because it brought me back to this memory:
I have a somewhat pronounced, wispy widow’s peak.
Also, these bright corals look amazing on you!
The nature noises😍😍😍
Thank you, thank you, thank you for showing the Spritz palette in action and even more so using the bolder colors. I am realizing that my eyes, brain, and heart gravitate towards warmer palettes but that they're also way out of my comfort zone. I was "gifted" the Viseart Warm Edit palette and after finally facing my fears I created a look that I didn't hate but thought maybe the Spritz would be better. The second u put that first shade on I instantly went "nope, not for me" but I so appreciate finally feeling solid about it not being for me. 🙂
Also, I'm intrigued by the HOS lipsticks but am not too interested in the bow cases.
I always skip tanning products. I have never even self-tanned. I don't quite get it, really? I think I may just be too fair for it.
So my hot take on these bronzy primers is that if I use these I just look orange or like I put on too much makeup or am just trying too hard. I also tan supppererrrr easy despite how diligent I am with SPF. I am light-medium with neutral-olive undertones.
Boy, thank you so much for your take on the "beauty youtube is dying". Sincerely.
Aw! Thank you!
I have breakouts in the bronzer area so those skin tint products don't do it for me because i am too impatient to spot conceal in fact I want to try the bareminerals in a medium shade for the summer and then see if it works in the winter as bronzer. I go for the Shelby Wilson look + coverage
Finally also jumped on the kantha robe train and NO RAGRETS.
Yaaaaas they look so much the same!
Love your headband
I’m circa NC 45 and I have never looked twice at a bronzing foundation and likely never will. I do own one powder bronzer, but I never use it. Bronzing just doesn’t interest me personally
Regarding the Makeup by Mario enhancer, I’m one of those people with a darker face than neck with redness. If I were to add this all over my face, I would then have to add heavier layers to counter the deeper color. I’d totally use this as either a bronzer or “top half of face enhancer.” 😂
I’m one of those darker face red skin people too 🙈
Which BK brush did you use for the skin enhancer by Mario? And would that be the brush you recommended for that product? It looks great on you! I’m sold!
BK 105!
I’m waaaaay too pasty for any kind of tan on my face because I’d end up rocking that 90’s too dark oxidized drug store foundation look if I tried. Sunburn blush is the most summery I go.
Ooh what's your favorite one?
@@kackie It no longer exists, Josie Maran had these sheer gel blushes and one was a true apple red. I’m limited in my options because I’m vegan.
Lol queen of viral sensation (she is talking about concealer under eyes 👀) . That made my day kackie! Because you did not put any hihi
Love youtubr beauty chanel of yours, don’t let little player on other plateforms make you change your mind.
The only bronzer undertones that work are made for golden tan/medium skin but the are of course way to dark - if
I did find a miracle pale golden bronzer it wouldn't matter because my body wouldn't match because there are definitely not body self tanners in that shade so I just look shockingly pale year round without even red hair to blame it on or I bronze it up in the winter when I can wear a turtleneck
I think there is a way to use makeup to look a little tan but some people are taking it WAAAY top far... to the point it appears as if they are trying to look like a different ethnicity than they are... and I do have a major problem with it... you on the other hand always do it so tastefully so thank you!
What setting powder did you use in this video?
Do you have any recommendations for fragrance free setting spray? My skin tends to get hives with fragrance on my face and I can’t seem to find any 😱
I have the NYX matte setting spray and it is fragrance free. I believe their other ones are also fragrance free. I think Hourglass might be fragrance free, but I haven’t tried it. You might want to check it in store.
I am so pale (partially due to genetics and partially due to health things) that if I did an all over the face tan without tanning my body if the shade was more than a shade darker than my skin I'd look like I'd made a very bad mistake.
quartz on the eyes
Sorry to be so annoyingly specific, but were you putting your bronzer on with the BK 107?
It looked angled but the 107 isn’t…. I’m not sure which brush that was
@@danalichvar3460 thank you!! That’s the trouble I’m having!
I died when I heard you say how much (little) it costs to get your nails done. I’m in HI and easily it’s twice that here. 😢
Yay! Traveling with babies! The worst and most regretful thing I have ever done. I've learned that NOTHING is worth traveling via airplane with babies. Unless of course, it's life or death of a beloved relative or friend... F'ing sucks so bad! Hope you are recovering peacefully Kackie!
"It is called Mario Twins!" If I needed proof that we are exactly the same age, there it is.
I really love that headband
Kackie I was wondering if you would be willing to check out this brand called Pley I love their eco packaging and their eyeshadows look delightful if you do check them out I would greatly appreciate it
Beauty RUclips didn't die....the problematic creators were voted off the island. There are plenty of wonderful beauty content creators I watch on a daily basis that, in my opinion, have created a far more calm and drama free beauty RUclips that seems to be doing great to me!
I don’t tan, and I don’t use fake tanners, so the idea of using a tanning “enhancer” all over my face doesn’t really make sense.
I can listen to you talk all day long
As a fair person I find that these all over “face enhancing” products don’t work well with me as the color in general doesn’t go with the rest of my body.
Oh gosh, group X. Haha
I hope the prednisone resolves your issue. I don't like that ENT you went to. I'd down vote him. Just saw your Simon note on IG. I hope the poor little guy isn't too bad off and feels better soon.
Oof. Thanks Lisa.
That's so lovely. I'll take that on board.
They are super non functional for me, I’m fairest of the fair, zero beige or tan tones to my skin whatsoever!
