@TheBottomLineView thank you bro . I was in heavy addiction and when I ended up getting clean I was watching ur videos during my recovery. Watching from Surrey BC
As a colts ran if that doesn’t prove Gus Bradley should never have a defensive coordinator job ever again than idk what will. I swear this guy some games just decide to not have a defensive gameplan
I am going to make the argument you are underselling Daniels performance a bit (82 PFF grade for the game). Atlanta is not a good defense, but a bit like Drake Maye, the surrounding cast is not that good. Washington went into the game missing their starting RT Andrew Wylie. Early in the game the backup RT Cornelius Lucas got hurt so they were down to their third string right tackle (Trent Scott who had a 40 PFF grade on 35 snaps). Likewise early in the game their center got hurt and the backup center Michael Dieter struggled (48 PFF grade on 61 snaps). So they were a bit short handed on a O-Line that is maybe a little bit below average to start with. Their receiver room is Terry McLaurin and a bunch of guys who ideally are WR 4 or 5's. Noah Brown, who got cut by the Texans was their #2 receiver. He is out for the season with a lacerated kidney. Their new #2 WR is Dyami Brown. He got injured last week and missed the game. Thus their receiver corps consisted of McLaurin, Olamide Zaccheaus, KJ Osbourn (44 PFF grade on 19 snaps), Luke McCaffrey, and Brycen Treamiane. Their TE is Zach Ertz, who was once a great TE, but has no juice in his legs, but remains an effective route runner against zone coverage, but doesn't have speed to run away from anybody against man coverage and doesn't really have the speed to threaten vertically up the seam so he cannot help with spacing on underneath routes for the receivers. Austin Ekeler, the only receiving back on the team is out. Yet Jayden got them to 36 points to beat the Eagles and 30 points to beat the Falcons. I think Jayden Daniels has a plausible argument that he is as high as the fourth best QB in the NFL this season. Coming into the week he had the 5th highest PFF grade and 4th most actual EPA. I think Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, and Joe Burrow make up tier 1 this season. Then there are about a half dozen guys in tier 2 like Daniels, Mahomes, Goff, and Herbert that all could make a reasonable claim for that 4th spot. I guess that is the thing about tiers the guys within tiers are somewhat interchangeable. On defense not having Marshon Lattimore really hurt as Michael Davis was terrible (33 PFF grade on 40 snaps), but getting Jonathan Allen back this week after missing the last 9 games was really helpful. Washington made a huge adjustment at halftime. They made their primary DE's 320 DT Daron Payne and 290 pound tweener Sheldon Day (on early downs and run downs). Without Allen I don't know if you have the luxury of being able to move Payne to the edge. Allen had a 74 PFF grade on 29 snaps, not bad for a first game back. And it was a good use of a tweener like Sheldon Day (61 PFF grade on 19 snaps) who while an end of the roster type guy can set a hard edge as a DE. A lot of people were curious about why Atlanta got away from the outside zone run that they were successful with in the first half and its because Washington basically sold out with their personnel choices to stop it in the second half. That said with 3 DTs and a tweener on the feel on most first downs we were very vunerable in pass coverage because we are not going to generate a lot pass rush that way. Thank god, Michael Penix (52 PFF grade though he had a great drive at the end of teh game) had his fair share of misses because a good QB could have picked apart the pass defense in the second half given that there was not going to be much pass rush on early downs.
Going from the first to second pick only benefits the Patriots if they are going to trade the pick. Last week when NY Giants had the first pick and the Patriots had the second pick, the Giants were going to take a QB which the Patriots didn't need so the Patriots were already going to have their pick of the non-QB's. That said it would make a lot of sense for the Patriots to trade the pick. If you could say pick up 3 first rounders including this year's 7th or 8th pick plus future firsts in 2026 and 2027 that is a no brainer to me for a team at the beginning of a rebuild.
I know that NFL players don't want to try to lose. Is there a way that the Patriots intentionally give up a two score lead and then try to play hard to show they have value?
Not a patriots fan if I was this is what I would want don't play May just lose. Trade 1st over all pick for more pick you know better then I do build your team though the draft. Sign Tee Higgins. Move on from the Bill Belichick era that's get rid of Mayo no Vrabel I know you want him but time to move on. Find a offensive minded head coach like Harbaugh this year or like Patton last year. Get a veteran Defensive coordinator. Now the big question is who is there out there.

Jayden was not awful first half of that game, we kept committing dumb penalties every single drive, we had 13 of them overall. we we're marching up and down the field at will all game long
@@TheBottomLineView This is how I know you weren't watching the game my friend. Aside from the 1 INT he threw, JD was marching up and down the field at will pretty much the entire game
The Rams offense has been putrid most of the season. You take out that offensive explosion they had against the Bills and they're average just 19 PPG this year. If I'm a Commies fan I'd much rather play the Rams than anybody else in the playoffs.
washington doesn't have Marshon or Ekeler... I think they'll be a tough out jus cuz of their O and I kinda love their matchup if they play the Rams but we'll see... bummed Packers gotta play Philly in the first most likely
Idk how Jayden Daniels keeps doing this with such a mediocre, borderline bad roster around him. Talent wise, they have to be a bottom 5-7 roster in the NFL.
@@brandondillman5841 their coaching is borderline fantastic. The offensive scheme is actually Top tier right now . The ol is underrated imo as well. Ertz, zaccheaus, robinson are all used well for what they do and mclaurin is a stud. Daniels rushing ability makes the offense dangerous
@@TheBottomLineView wonder if somebody goes after Kliff to be a head coach again. He'd probably need to prove he's great for another year, but if they keep this up through 2025 I'd be shocked if other teams don't come calling.
