Here's a tip for Hard Rain's finale: You can use one of the traffic cones in front of the truck to jump on the front bumper of said truck, then get on top of it, jump over the fence you just came from to light the burger tank sign, And just wait in the safe room. When the tank spawns, stay in front of the door. If you're in front of the door while the tank is attacking to get in, the door won't break. At least, mostly. Some RNG is still involved but not as much as waiting on the rooftop of the Burger Tank
Problems with that tactic Joseph! First one according to the community the L4D2 saferooms are 100% breakable by the tanks, only the L4D1 saferooms can't be broken with the tactic you mention. Second one even if he did manage to do all of that he's gonna have an endless wave of specials spawning once the boat arrives as well as the slow down from the water making him an easy target for smokers, hunters, etc. Third one the tank if far enough to throw a rock can cause the door to break which if I remember correctly is what happened to him at one point when he tried this tactic.
Cursed Hawkins Actually on the console version (haven’t tested on PC yet) you can actually stay in a safe room when a tank comes you have to stand right on the door and be face to face with him and he won’t be able to break the door. It’s because his arm glitches through the door so he’s not actually hitting the door, he’s trying to hit you. The only way he can break it from there is if you back up or he throws a rock from distance. If he’s throwing a rock far away make sure to open the door real quick so he doesn’t break it.
@Dax Wells I can’t even finish Swamp Fever on expert, like literally it SO HARD to finish. Like when I get to the Plantation House part (the Finale), I always know that some random special infected will spawn and screw me over and it’s so not fair.
