    when we use inner dimension ,formula is fine .Any other dimension must be in terms of inner dimensions.When code says to measure from inner side we can use formula with inner dimension.Our Engineer might not caught this point.Remaining all is excellent lecture if I am not wrong

    Ek vat or btao bhai jab bar bender ko ring ka sariya cutting ke liye de to kon si calculation sahi hoti ring -4-4 , bend deduction karna hota hai ya nhi you tube video dekh dekh kar confuse ho gya hu samjh nhi aata kiya shi hoga interview mai kiya btay

    inner dimension of ring in given example 400x300.
    cutting length 2(400+300) +(24 x10}=1640mm? is it ok please guide i am very confused

    Bro A and E inside ke dimension hain ,apne bar ki cntr kyun liya, formula me in to in dimension dalenge to cutting lngth along cntr line niklega

      Inner dimension per 24D
      & Centre Line per 20D lena hota h, ye explain kia h

      A=500-2*40-2*10=400
      E=400-2*40-2*10=300
      Cuttng length alng cntr line=2*(400+300)+24*10=1640 but according to as per is 2502 u calculated A =500-2*40-2*5=410
      Aur E=400-2*40-2*5=310
      Thn cutng lngth =2*(410+310)+24*10=1680

      Its bcoz they take the dimensions inside of ring bar as per IS code, but practicality we calculate the cutting length on center line of bar.

      But where formula mentioned at Top row IS code prefer the cutting length should calculate from the centre line of bar, please check again, i hope you get that point.
