Got my set back in August as a birthday present from me to me and I've been using the rechargeable battery packs in mine since I've had mine. Not only becaus of trying to avoid the possibility of them leaking in the flashlight and ruining it, but you get the most power/brightness using the battery pack.

Not sure why, but the battery chargeLEDs reminded me of those old-school battery charge indicators, which basically just shorted the battery.

No this is different! All works great. The Li-ion rechargeable have more power than the 4 AAA batteries. Much brighter light.

The funny thing is these companies are all making these proprietary rechargeable batteries like you see there with the USB port built into the battery which is fine and dandy and all except when you think about that the rechargeable flashlights that were out years ago which included an 18650 you could literally just pull the 18650 out and swap it with one on a charger without it being proprietary and then use it in anything that took an 18650 it's funny how things regress not progress

It is very thoughtful because the Ryobi brand USB lithium tools that they have their battery you have to physically pull out to recharge it unfortunately and the Milwaukee brand doesn't have a charger built into it although you can charge it from the flashlight or device you're using luckily finally Ryobi came out with a multi battery charger so you can have three or four of them charging at a time cuz it kind of sucks to keep a whole strand of USBC's and the cables run everywhere and then you need a hub or take up a whole bunch of USB bricks for your power outlets and that's frustrating and a mess

Bought this for my car and the garage. Wish there was a way to disable the strobe light.

Fun fact the Lowe's brand kobalt there's an Infinity brand and this Duracell brand are all the same chassis light The Cobalt comes with rechargeable battery cell that I believe have two 18,650s in it along with the same for the Infinity I'm not sure if it's optional for the Duracell or not

How much was it for the three pack I wonder if those cells that are rechargeable are just 118 650 the larger 2500 lumen one I believe is two 18650s and then the smaller version the pen light is two AAAs note rechargeable that are heat shrink wrapped to be proprietary but they're just AAAs that are rechargeable that's it
