It came out beautifully! The girls must be so happy . I got an idea for the reading corner, you could make a rainbow out of the arch. Just an idea. Otherwise, it's perfect as it is!
Very cute. I believe your palm is actually a Madagascar dragon tree. I water mine whenever the soil is dry, about once weekly. If it is hot in the room, it may need watering more often since the soil will dry out faster.

Beautiful and so free of clutter, just calm, the only things I would change is I would move the little drawer shelf’s as the girls may catch themselves on it especially getting in and out of bed in the night to go to the loo, and I would take the curtains all the way across the wall and paint ceiling the same white as walls, and the arch needs a second coat of paint,other than that it’s perfect and so relaxing

About the paint, do you also paint the trim with same paint and is it satin or semi gloss?
Yes, it was the same paint, and I always use semi gloss because washing our walls is a MUST.

@@lesleyhughes3174 I just meant many have opinions, and it would put that to rest. She told us when she left, so now it's public. She has a right to a personal life, I am not arguing that at all. I know a marriage with addiction, and counseling, and working it out. So I also understand the opinions of others make it really hard sometimes. Just felt a chat like she used to do wouldn't be considered heartless.

Cute but I have little girls and no way they would approve this decor. I think a kids room should have their own personalities, favorite colors and some of their favorite toys. Moms have the entire rest of the house to decorate in neutral colors or whatever we like. Let them own their own space. You’re only little once.
