It's time to put my hair in rehab! After being in a protective style for 3+ months, Zoe needs a good deep condition and eventual trim. This is how I prepare my hair for a flat iron to prevent heat damage and breakage. #4chair is 🔥
Thank you Apara! I think my hair like to too…except my hairline lol! I’ll try another protective style, but I’ve gotta figure out how to prevent tension.
I haven't straightened my hair in years! I get it curly cut. The idea of doing it makes me exhausted, just for me to turn around go to ballet and sweat it out, so I'll have to live vicariously through you.
Thank You so much ..I really appreciate the time you put into your tutorial’s. Steam treatments have never crossed my mind 🤔 I know I need a trim that will be happening professionally this week, just uncertain if I should have my hair flat ironed of allow trimming in its natural state🤔🙄. The decisions… I just want healthy , growing hair 🤣😂☺️. I also want to thank you for the hair clip recommendation.. the best I’ve owned. Until the next time. Appreciate you.🙏🏽💖💐
Thank you Zina!! I appreciate you for taking the time to watch them. ☺️ Steam treatments are something I don’t do often, but I always enjoy when I do. Definitely work a try! And the hair clips are amazing. I’m really glad you’ve also had a good experience!! For the hair trim, it depends. I’d trim it the way you typically wear it. If it’s usually in it’s natural state, trim that way. If you mostly wear it stretched, it might be worth straightening or blowing it out or threading. Hope this helps!
Those chunky twists though 😍😍😍 I love your hair stretched, your wng (which I can never do!), and everything in between, girl. That's my favorite way to wear my hair, blown out in chunky twists. I wear the twists down for a day then for the rest of the month in a banana twist with the ends twisted into a bun. I twist each half of the ponytail separately to make two loose jumbo twists and tuck each end of the twisted twists to the opposite side of the clip - makes a beautifully intricate bun in 2 min!.
That style sounds beautiful. It’s so cool that the simplest hairstyle create such beautiful results. And thank you! I love the look of chunky twists too.
Hi. I would love to see a pic of that hairstyle you described! It sounds pretty simple and elegant, but I'm not too clear on the details. Please, could you break down the explanation step by step with more details, or put up a pic of it? 😃🤷♀️
@@pragooutube Hey! It is very simple do to, sorry I wasn't very good explaining. I don't have a channel, so not sure how to post a pic and maintain anonymity 👀😁. But I blow out my hair, or like this time, moisturize it with little water and bantu knot in 4 sections with a bag overnight and detangle until fluffy, stretched and air dried. Point is to start on stretched fluffy hair. Then twist into 16 or so chunky twists (didn't count just estimating). The thicker the better IMO. Gather twists into low ponytail in a banana clip clipped horizontally. I may leave out 3 front twists for bangs that I pin down later into a swoop bang or roll tuck for something more fun. The rest of your twists should stick out of the back of the clip like a ponytail. Take left half of pony and very loosely twist. It's ok to more tightly twist the very ends. Repeat for right half but twist in opposite direction to make the halves contrast. Cross the tails of the left and right twists so that left twist goes to toward the right top of the clip and right twist toward the left bottom, or wherever makes a nice pattern of the two big, fluffy twists of twists weaving over each other. Depending on the length of your hair you may secure the ends by tucking the twisted ends behind the horizontal ends of the clip for longer hair, or pinning one end somewhere along the top and the other along bottom of the clip at various midpoints for shorter hair. I've done both as my hair's grown out. Thanks for asking! 💙 Hth👍🏿
@@Doc_McStuffins Thank you! This explanation was spot on- no pic necessary now! I envision it to be a very elegant hairstyle for sure. I love it! My hair is only armpit length at the moment so I'm not 100% sure it's going to work for me as yet, but I'm sure once it does- its going to be my signature look, my go-to protective style. Thanks again! 🤗💯
@@pragooutube _only_ armpit length? Girl, that's long! I was doing this with shorter hair for sure. If you can make a ponytail, and have hair left over to twist, you can do this. You could even divide it into 3 or 4 twists and interweave those for short hair (which you don't have). You got hair sis! Try it out.
I just love your hair. I hope someday to have as much as you but due to health conditions my hair took a serious hit over the past couple of years as so much of it fell out (don’t worry I’m okay now and have been taking care of myself) and it’s on the mend. I recently took my hair down after having braids in for an obscene amount of time and she’s thriving! Lol.
How do you get your hair to be so detangled? And stay that way. I feel like I have to detangle twice when I wash my hair and even then there's still tangles. I keep my hair in twists also but it doesn't stop them. I can sometimes hear my hair snapping whenever I try to detangle...
@@LaToyaEbonyHair I want to thank you, as you recommended it on your christmas, gift list in December 2020 and that's when I bought. Loved it ever since.
😂 Me too. BUT I know it was for the best. Maybe she saw something I didn’t. Or maybe next time I need to go with it straight. Kizzy idk…I miss my mother cutting it for me tbh.

Your hair REALLY loved being away in the locs. It looks more fuller and thicker to me. Not sure if anyone else notice . Gorgeous hair 🥰

Hi, you can try headband wigs if you'd like 🤗

I can't wait to see the next step in the upcoming video!
I love twists on blow out hair too. If I didn’t have to trim, I’d keep it. ☺️

Zoe looks very healthy. I have to do a bit of back tracking with my routine started getting a lil lazy 🥴
Haha! I hear you. I fall into getting lazy as well. That’s when I do mini twists or something lol

Talk about beautiful hair LaToya! Wow I was blown away (no pun intended).
Awww haha! The pun made me smile. Thank you so much sweetie!
Healthy beautiful hair. Those thick twists though. Me wishing my hair was thicker.
Funny because I wanted them to be thicker lol
I love your hair, it’s beautiful 😍. Deep conditioning the hair is very important for having bouncy hair and elasticity
I love a good deep condition. ☺️
We didn't get to see Zoe in her full glory and now we are getting her back to back? Yes, ma'am! Come through 😍

Hey Latoya. I love your videos, and your hair looks great. Question - did you use low, medium or high heat when blow drying?
High heat. 😊
Hi latoya.. i love your content
Aww thank you Sylvia!
Your hair is beautiful. I think I need to check out that blow dryer. 😄
Thank you! I love my blow dryer 🥰 worth checking out for sure.
Yes your hair has grown 🥰💙.. thank you for this video 💙.. I haven’t used any of the Kim Kimble products and may give this DC a try
I think it’s worth a shot if you need a deep conditioner and are in the mood. ☺️ The TPH conditioner is great by itself as well.
@@LaToyaEbonyHair thank you 🥰

For me it depends on the previous style. The more stretched my hair was before the wash, the easier it is to keep it untangled.
Another YTUBER suggested using conditioner and rinsing it out. I tried it and along with using Felicia L brush during this "pre poo" process.
I missed youuuuu😩😩 loving your hair!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
