    Great review! Thanks! Is it possible to attach a portable "kayak" seat as seen on many boards these days?

      Glad it helps! Be sure to read the full review as there are more facts and heaps of pictures: www.backcountryskiingcanada.com/Body-Glove-Performer-2023-11-SUP
      To answer your question, No, not on this model, but they do have a kayak version called the Glide: www.backcountryskiingcanada.com/Body-Glove-Glide-11-Inflatable-Kayak

      Did you buy it new? If so they should be able to send you one, if it’s second hand then I’d reach out to Body Glove as they likely have them for sale. You can also try a paddle board shop or online as many fin boxes are the same so another company’s fin will also work.

    How do you attach the gopro to the board? Can u please share a link for the mount you use?

      There is an action camera mount in the nose of the board, if you read the review you will see a close up of this feature: www.backcountryskiingcanada.com/Body-Glove-Performer-2023-11-SUP

    How is deflating it and putting it back in the bag? I don't have a big enough vehicle to keep it inflated everywhere i go unfortunately.

    • @Backcountryskiingcanada
      @Backcountryskiingcanada  Год назад

      Pretty much the same as any other inflatable SUP, it is easy to deflate - I like to lay on mine to force the air out faster. Folding it up to fit the bag is pretty straightforward forward but it may take a couple tries the first time so you know where the optimal fold is but it's not difficult. If you are deflating it each time just be sure to not store it all winter in the bag folded up as it is not great for the materials, I prefer to store inflatable SUPs half inflated with just enough air pressure to keep the SUP's shape.

    Question: what would you suggest if my electric pump won’t display the numbers so idk the psi (?)

    • @Backcountryskiingcanada
      @Backcountryskiingcanada  Год назад

      I'd suggest that you get that replaced under warranty if it is still new as you need to know the PSI as you do not want to over-inflate the SUP as it could be dangerous. Inflatable SUPs expand in the hot sun as the pressure inside increases so you want to be sure you inflate them to the recommended limit and no more!

      Super good deal for one of the most versatile SUPs out there. Enjoy the board.

    Thanks for this video.. Is there a specific foot pump I should purchase / can you recommend a reasonably priced one? (Ideally one I can get in 🇨🇦)

    • @Backcountryskiingcanada
      @Backcountryskiingcanada  Год назад +1

      It comes with an electric pump that works really well so no need for a hand pump but if you need one most will work as it has a universal valve. I typically pump up the board at the beginning of the paddling season and then leave it inflated for the summer and then take out 90% of the air in the fall to store it. You want enough air left in the board to retain its shape and then store it under a bed or out of the way but never folded in the bag as this will crease and wear the materials.

    Will it be considerably better because of the single fin? I have the 2022 model and am happy with it

      Rene give the full review a read and you'll find that answer and more. The link to the review is in the video description above.

      Triple fins aren't needed with paddle boards; nearly all of the most premium paddle boards only use 1 fin. The fact that 2023 version of Body Glove's Performer 11 board uses just the single REMOVABLE fin means its going to be way, WAY easier to roll up and put back in the back; i've got the 2020 version of the Performer 11 with 3 non-removable fins... I absolutely hate putting it back into the bag. I've got an Aquatone Flame board as well with a single fin; tracks just as well but it's so much more convenient.

    • @Backcountryskiingcanada
      @Backcountryskiingcanada  Год назад +1

      @@thomasanderson5929 Hey Thomas, I could not agree more on all points. The removable fin is a considerable upgrade and does help pack the board down much smaller in the pack. I don't find it that much more stable however but it's hard to compare without last year's board to make a side-by-side comparison but it would theoretically be more stable and thus better for beginner paddlers as well.

    Have you had any issues with the pump? we have had two of them & the pump blew the 12V outlet in a truck and our RV.

      huh, sorry to hear that. No issues so far, other than it doesn't plug into a wall socket in my house which would be super handy.
