    If you go to videos of Mayweather hitting the pads, there's always at least 2 or 3 haters saying how easy it is to do that. Then you see Pascal, who was a title holder, struggle to do it.

    i can guarantee you if someone asked you to do some professional soccer drills you couldn't do any of them. but if roger took you through padwork you wouldn't be close to floyd but you do it pretty good after a few hours practise. but again i do love some people soccer is the biggest sport in the world by a long long way but apparently is sucks. some people might say getting punched in the head for living sucks more but i guess its up to you

  • @bull6599
    @bull6599 11 лет назад

    It's not about the weight difference b/w Floyd & Pascal, nor is it about memorizing a pattern b/c it's impossible to memorize it. It's about the fact that Pascal, like most fighters, are only used to hitting the pads as stationary targets and use no head and glove/arm movement during routines b/c they do nthn defensive with the pad work at all. This is why Floyd is a class above these other guys and why his coordination is likely unmatched by nearly everyone else in the sport.

    Withhold names, what? I named all white champions. Yoan Pablo Hernandez and those others aren't white. Talking about PPV is pointless because only the USA buy PPV these days and most PPVs came from the HW division. The only small division people care about is the Mayweather division since he's the only american left who's great aswell as Andre Ward; all higher weightclasses belong to europeans and smaller divisions belong to mexicans.

  • @jamestoney6009
    @jamestoney6009 11 лет назад

    Wrong lol Y withhold names?
    CRUISERWEIGHT - WBA - Guillermo Jones / Denis Lebedev

    WBC - Krzysztof Wlodarczyk
    IBF - Yoan Pablo Hernandez
    WBO - Marco Huck / Ola Afolabi
    LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT - WBA - Beibut Shumenov
    WBC - Chad Dawson

IBF - Tavoris Cloud

WBO - Nathan Cleverly
    SUPER MIDDLEWEIGHT - WBA - Andre Ward / Karoly Balzsay / Mikkel Kessler

    WBC - Andre Ward

IBF - Carl Froch

    WBO - Arthur Abraham
    Plus the divisions w/most PPVs are WW, LH, MW, SMW, SFW and then HW so wat r u talking about?

  • @HSMike2
    @HSMike2 11 лет назад

    HW Champs: Wladimir Klitschko, Vitali Klitschko, Alexander Povetkin
    Cruiserweight Champs: Denis Lebedev, Krzysztof Włodarczyk, Marco Huck
    LHW Champs: Beibut Shumenov, Nathan Cleverly.
    SM Champs: Mikkel Kessler, Stanyslav Kashtanov, Carl Froch, Arthur Abraham
    MW Champs: Gennady Golovkin, Martin Murray,
    --
    No point going further than that, nobody wants to see tiny people fight and ofcourse Mexicans/Asians and other small people are gonna dominate those divisions since nobody else is that small.

  • @jamestoney6009
    @jamestoney6009 11 лет назад

    lol well clearly your reading skills and/or vision is a little off. There are only three big divisions and two ppl hold the majority of belts in one of those divisions lol.. and in the other two there are 6 nonwhites and 5 white champs. By the way, there are 14 other division and the white guys aren't dominating them at all. The fact of the matter is the avg person is between 5'4'' - 6'0'' and 160lbs - 190lbs, and there's a larger # of ppl that fit into the small divisions & most aren't white.

  • @jamestoney6009
    @jamestoney6009 11 лет назад

    lol there are only two ppl named Klitschko on that list though... then there's Yoan Pablo Hernández, Ola Afolabi, Guillermo Jones, Chad Dawson and B-Hop. There are more white champs in the heavyweight divisions but not all of them are white. And competition wise, there's a larger number of quality fighters in the smaller divisions. And that's not to take anything away from the heavyweights but it's true. And pound for pound the majority of the top fighters are black & hispanic.

    Hein!!! the only thing that IS HARD TO BELIEVE is what u said..have u seen him fight? in this video he was just a little bit uconfortable whit this type of mitt work that is preferably made for light hands and jeff kept telling him to put his hands by his ear...warrior PASCAL a legit champ

  • @jdscreate1
    @jdscreate1 11 лет назад

    Idiots. Floyd has practiced this routine since he was a young boy so at least 30 years pascal is leaning the new routine. Every trainer has his own patterns and range on the pads so for you that are commenting saying jean is slow or looks like an armature has clearly never boxed lmfao

  • @kelseylovexoxo
    @kelseylovexoxo 11 лет назад

    Yall dont understand comparing this dude to floyd.. floyd way lighter his hands gonna be way faster.. this dude is big he probably just learning that pattern with roger, he a big dude and he still going pretty fast.. now obv mayweather gonna be 2 times faster but also 3 times smaller

  • @rcades1234
    @rcades1234 11 лет назад

    the mayweathers biggest claim to fame is training floyd, freddie roach is pacqauio outside that both trainers ain't really been bringing through and training lots of fighters for example like nacho beristain

    he's so stiff and he brings his hands up so high to block like he doesn't really know how to block a punch. it's hard to believe he was a champion. i think he awkwardness is one of his assets.

    • @leeroyjenkins6061
      @leeroyjenkins6061 5 лет назад +1

      They've also spent a lifetime together. Floyd *learned* boxing from his uncles. That means they also taught him the pads. Why wouldn't they have chemistry? Pascal has a different style and has to be taught their methods. I'm sure Pascal has chemistry with his lifelong trainers as well. Your point doesn't really make sense.

  • @The_Real_Vent

    When you're used to the speed of Floyd with these mitt combinations, it's tough to slow it back down for someone not used to them. I think if Roger slowed down just a little and gave just a little more patience to Jean, he'd get it

  • @PragmaticPursuits
    @PragmaticPursuits 11 лет назад

    I'm no expert but every time I see Roger work his style of pads/mitts he has the guy lead with an uppercut. I would think you would want to begin a combination with a jab.
