John Taylor as CT Studd, tells the story of the famous missionary's life in this 55 minute presentation. There are many fascinating insights into CT's experiences and beliefs. A truly inspiring story. Based on the book CT Studd Cricketer & Pioneer by Norman Grubb.

At the age of 53 in 1913, Studd arrived in the Belgian Congo (now The Democratic Republic of Congo) where he preached the Gospel tirelessly seeing many come to Christ and churches established. He died in the Congo in1931.
CT Studd founded the Heart of Africa Mission in 1913 which is now known as WEC International. After 100 years, the mission has grown to over 1,800 workers working in about 90 countries, it has truly become an international mission agency. Mission is now from anywhere to everywhere, involving new partnerships that span languages, cultures, even civilisations. WEC has a clear vision to see Christ known, loved and worshipped by the least-evangelised peoples of the world.

I am 63, now, and when I was a young Christian of 20 I read CT's biography written by Norman Grubb entitled Cricketer and Pioneer. It stirred me immensely and was greatly used by God to draw me to His calling to be an Evangelist.
What an inspiring story. What's terribly sad is that since his day and that of other great men of God who were called out of England to preach the Gospel, that country, my birth place, has wandered so far from God. False religions have crept in, and God has removed His lamp post. Today you can walk down those charming little cobblestone streets and see most of the little churches where thGospel was first preached so fervently have closed and been turned into pubs. How tragic that a country that was once the home to some of the greatest missionaries in the world has turned its back on God, just as we have done, here in America.

This is so good. I found some of his quotes a couple of years ago and began reading some o his messages. As a seeker o Christ, I can feel the anointing on the words from God throiugh this man even through the drama! I listened , stopped and relistened to some parts to get in all. IT is a great message to all those called according to His person, called to go outside the camp and sure to kindle this fire! God bless this man for writing this book and or this production so the words could be carried on
This is the best film i have ever seen in my life. It is convicting, sobering and causes me to examine myself and seek Christ alone.
